Edging Up on a Full Day

Here is the gallery.

Pups are doing really well. I have to buy more storage to do these galleries. LOL Willow has a milk station all the way up and she had mats from the milk draining so that area is now shaved. Not sure how I missed this milk station but now they have more to use. Sometimes they are small and high up on the chest as this one was.

Willow was exceedingly happy to see me. Dennis said last night she was looking for me. Now she is settled down. Life is good. Both moms adore their pups.

5 Hours or So

All pups have gained already.

Willow went outside as this room is rather toasty and laid in the sun and cooled her body down and then she realized I have pups and went running. It was a 1st time aha moment for mom. This all happened in oh 3- 5 minutes. I laughed at the reaction.

Mom and pups are doing really well.

Early Morning Hours

Nathan got into bed about 2. I had to finish uploading the gallery and videos. So, I dragged myself into bed about 230ish. Nathan took some of the dogs and went to the guestroom thinking he would give me a full night sleep. He gets up throughout the night. It is why he takes naps. I don't get naps so sleep is well sleep when I can.

The lights went out and Willow started dry heaving and panting. I said to myself PLEASE not tonight - oh please. About 345am she stopped and went to sleep. I guess she is close but not today. Her temp this morning is 99.2.

Dennis is sleeping and we woke up at 7am. I am a foggy brained being. We shall see how the day goes.

First Belly Shot

Click on Photo for larger ViewSo it begins.

About 2 weeks ago or even a week ago, Nathan said I am not sure they are pregnant. I said dear,  they all are. You see the body changes. Nathan waits to confirm when they have hard bellies. In reality you know when they have morning sickness and/or they want to be close like a glove.

This is the gallery of the belly shots.

Hey mom, what the hey are you doing to me in this tub? The wide eyes want to know. This is her first and her belly is growing by the day.

She is now eating 3 big meals a day,

What a Ride

Nathan arrived yesterday and they had an outside tie. Usually if they become pregnant - takes sperm to do so meeting egg. LOL But usually the number in litter is low. So, i am thinking no pregnancy or a singleton or 3. Willow is a maiden gal so you never know for a first time. This morning it wasn't for a lack of trying but they did not connect. As she is still fertile and will be tomorrow, Nathan decided to stay. Paula is back and he's at her home.

I sent Nathan that I had bred Leti and was holding them in place. 10 minutes later he said they are tied. So, they will try again tomorrow and he will come home. You only need 1 good tie during this period but I like to have 2 good solid ones for my own paranoid piece of mind.

Poor Nathan - how stress-filled but now he knows I had a connection with leti and he had one with Willow - well actually 2 if you count the outside tie and believe me we have had a litter of 4 with an outside tie. Ace just had a litter of seven 2 weeks ago so we know he has viable sperm.

Now we can all relax. Pups will come around April 27th
