Today's Photos

Truffie still likes to climb under this desk and fall asleep. He no longer fits all that well but he still does it. It is amazing he can get back out as the drawer is where is head is and you can't go forward or sideways. He can only back out and he does.

Truffie had a bath today and then climbed under the desk for a long nap.

Phantom, Truffie's dad also had a bath and didn't stay looking groomed for long.

Two minutes after I clicked the earlier photo he proceeded to do everything to not looked groomed. I have to laugh.

It's treacherous outside. As you can see, Truffie is walking on sheets of ice and I have to brace myself out in the back to make sure I don't fall. The walkways are a mess.

Even in the grass it's ice and more ice as you can see in this photo of Kat taken today.

Although I washed Kat, Phantom and Truffie today I am not sure they will stay clean long. <sigh>

They say it is the rainiest winter we have ever had and the mud is back but so is the ice. I am hoping tomorrow is a better day.

It was a milder day in Pickering as there was no freezing here, however, it will likely happen tonight. I empathize w/ you having to tend to all the wet dogs. In any event Darlah, your dogs still look beautiful in these photos! They are very well kept and your efforts show.

Debi: I washed 3 today and they don't look like I just did them but thanks. Tomorrow is a new day. We had ice under the snow that is now gone and it was balmy but icy. I am hoping the ice goes completely away before snow comes. It really is dangerous outside and I worry about Shoshi and Terra. They both have no brains when it comes to ice. Both have had issues - Terra (our golden) a knee operation due to this sort of condition and Shoshi pulling a ligament. So we are being extra careful even beyond the usual.

Yes, that would be a worry. Our Tiffany ruptured a ligament sprinting on a beach, so we were always extra careful after that. However, we did acupuncture and she never did have issues w/ the injured or other leg (which we were told would inevitably happen) and she was fine after that. However, as I mentioned in another past post, she would literally freeze and lie down in frigid weather, so she was always supervised during winter outtings.
