Mystery Day

Let me tell you the highlights of today.

Daisy walks in the pool and jumps off the steps and starts swimming to me. Okay, Daisy what was that about? Then she starts running back and forth on the stairs and kicking up water and doing the run like hell game with herself. I am dying with laughter.

Then all of a sudden she jumps back in and swims again.

Now this is all fine and dandy but every time I brushed her she did it again. For my sanity sake I took her inside after her fifth time of doing this. I can only brush so much.

Benji started playing with Abigail in a big way. He was having a grand time and wanted nothing to do with the pool or anyone else. Yesterday all he could think of was the pool. Okay, so he is smitten with Abigail and doesn't want to come in and she's playing back with him. So no pool day is okay too.

Hmmm but usually he likes Roxie more than mom Abigail. He didn't even want to play with Charlie or Daisy - strange stuff. So, I picked up Abigail, put her in the house with Dennis and he started playing with everyone and not having a one track mind. What was that about?

So, I go in and look at Abigail and she may be in an early stage of getting her heat too. oh boy...

Now my daily thing will be to check the gals. Abigail is now hanging out with the gals in heat and extra gals that we rotate so everyone has fun. She is now banned from hanging out with the boys unless I turn out wrong and she is not in heat. She's not bleeding yet but she is swollen and that's one of the 1st signs. I caught Teaser early too. You pay attention to the boys and they tell you everything unless you are slow like I was today.

Nathan is feeling better but not whole. He took Teaser swimming today and then had a relapse and now is surrounded by dogs watching tv.

Teaser took to swimming with ease though she had enough after 3 swims. So I guess she liked it not loved it and that's okay too.

Then Panda and Roxie had a race. Nathan put them in the pool at the exact same time and Panda won. We only did it once but Panda is a very strong swimmer. Bravo, Panda! Next time, Roxie.

Charlie decided today he would rather play than swim. That is okay. Nathan was running out of steam. Charlie gets a bath in the morning and then he is off to hang out at his house.

Life changes and Cooper comes to visit on Thursday and let's see if Benji can keep up.

Fun times was had today despite me coughing and Nathan not doing well. Tomorrow I bet will be a splendid day.

Oh, and I did go to Loblaws seeing the stores was closed tomorrow and it was QUIET. I expected busy. How interesting.
