Happy Birthday Shout Out!: Gallery Added

Check out today's gallery. In case we have pups soon I needed to put it all in a gallery. Shelby came to play and you will catch her flying in the air. The rest were playing their hearts out. There were moments I wished I had captured but I need a camera attached to my head. :-) Rocky departs today. He has really opened up these days!

Late Update Today

Nathan was trying to figure out how to take Flash photos last night. Before we get home Trigger and Levon will have already departed. Who knows what photos we will get as Dennis and Jonathan won't be concentrating on clicking. They will be playing and taking care of the dogs.

Trigger and Levon are a blast to have here. They really know how to play. Though Cooper flattened the 2 last night with a jump in the air. I am not sure he meant to do it but I don't think he was counting on the snow cover. I wish I had caught that as Trigger looked up as if to say what was THAT? Then they were off and playing up a storm. It was as if they knew it was just in play and it was. Marlee seems to always be in the thick of it and Kona barks, play bows and then starts his pursuit game. It's a GREAT mix. Even Jazmyn is finding her play.

All the dogs are now brushed so I don't have to come home to that including Levon and Trigger. Wow what a busy morning. More later here or maybe not. Indeed the Panda and Spice blogs will get updated. Here it depends on if I find the time to click.

I just finished washing Roxie. She's going to the vets tomorrow as she has milk. Maybe she can help Panda?

What I noticed about this photos is how much she looks like Logan.

I am not sure if I will get to photos today or not. I still have some to brush out. Nathan hasn't clicked any yet and neither has Dennis. Though they have been in and out a ton of times. I also have Zoe here for a bath.

Sylvia gave me a keyboard for my ipad and Daddy Truffie and Mommy Abigail got some treats (huge thanks) and I am typing on it right now. The duo are saying nah nah I got treats and you don't. Okay, I gave in and gave the rest chicken strips. What a suck I am. At least Nathan tells me so.

This keyboard is easier to type this way and I don't always have to rely on my computer to do updates - wow. This may make it easier when pups come. If I am going between moms then I can have my ipad and keyboard with me. It will also make it MUCH easier come spring/summer. I have a feeling I am going to be living in the xpens at times with a new mom Panda and a mom with many Spice perhaps. See their blogs to follow. To those that make fun of us or post photos of our gate in the front as dogs have scraped it to hey - well we made a huge splurge and bought a new gate that will come in a week or two. It's bronze, no longer wood so no chew toy gate for pups and bigger dogs. It will come with a gate so you no longer have to climb over it. Good news for many.

It was way overdue but somehow our $$ tend to go to the dogs, the vets, bills and supplies. hahahaha You notice who is first in that equation.

If I do not get to photos, at least you have the beautiful Roxie to look at. I know not enough but I am only 1 person. I do try.

In 5 days Nathan is at the show during the day in Lindsay for 3 days. So, on Friday I am doing a lot of washing and getting him ready - 6 baths with visitors. He packs the car. So if we have a lull that day, please understand. It's only Valentine's Day. :-)

Maybe I will let Nathan put it all away on Monday. He would but I may not be able to find things if he did.

Just Photos

Yes, they can find sticks THROUGH the snow.

Some days I wonder why I groom as they jump in and out of the snow like crazy dawgs. I just love it!

I took these photos after Brie and Colby departed. I was doing baths so I didn't get to click till after Shady was done.

Brie almost caught a rabbit last night.

Cooper is playing with Cali today doing tug and he is letting her win. Kona can find sticks under the snow. Who knew?

Its been a truly fun day - just dawgs and humans are tired.

Today's Update

Today I get to wash Nora, Shady, Brie and Colby as they depart. They were here for the weekend and Alene went on holiday the first time in years - hooray!!! I hope it was a huge amount of sun and fun!

So updates may be later. I hope Nathan takes photos while I am washing. Gracie comes just for overnight and no one gets the crew going like Grace. I call her crazy Grace as she is so hyper fun. I swear she has a havanese body but a Jack Russell infused energy. She's not from us but she goes to our same training classes. She adds an element of crazy play and when one gets tired she just moves on to the next dog.

Logie also gets to come to see his gal pal, Panda. They will be excited. One thing I have learned is when the mix is tight the relationship unfolds slowly and you are left with 2 dogs that are so truly bonded. They do love each other. Logie and Panda jump around as if they just won the gold in Olympics when they see each other. It's a riot!

I have to say that it turned out to be a busy weekend but this mix is outstanding. Everyone plays so well together. As the dogs get to know each other from a variety of visits they become completely relaxed as if its old friends seeing each other again.

On Valentine's Day I have 6 dogs to wash - 4 of my own as 4 are going to the show Saturday/Sunday and Monday and then get washed each day - yikes. Happy Valentine's Day to me. So Nathan if you are reading this the 12th would be good to celebrate Valentine's Day. Yeah, an in your face hint!

I am also getting rid of phlegm and so is Dennis so wondering if I should train Nathan to do show coats? 

Tuesday we go to the girls to the vet for an xray. Roxie is going in too as I need to know why she is still in false pregnancy mode.

Dennis must be bummed as he refuses to set up the xpens for the gals. He did clean and sterilize everything. He said please wait till after the xray. It's quiet without the pups but I hear they are all doing well.

Belly Blogs Updated

Just added a photo of a belly shot of Panda and Spice on their blog. Check it out. Spice was brushed but she rolled two seconds before. Panda didn't. It is what it is. :-) Look at bellies and forget about the rest.

Photos Added

Just had to post this as this was so comical. Colby is playing with Bailey and Shady is standing up with a look of oh my I am standing up so long.

What I did notice (poor quality photos in kitchen with so much action - too cold outside) that Cooper likes the smaller set. Maybe it was just today but Nora, Leti and Bailey was his focus. Brie loves the puppy. Kona sniffed Bella up but didn't play with her but so did Wasabi and Risa who wanted to nap. I think Kona did too. They played hard before I took the camera out with Nathan mumbling where is my camera - where is my lens. We share a lens that I adore so its interesting at times.

Another cold day.... Tired of cold days as the dogs play and then have to come right in but we do it many times a day so they get the fresh air and room to run too.

Well this is the more later. I have a dog to wash, 4 tomorrow so updates may not be my usual but here are some photos. Some blurry as Nathan clicked, didn't pay attention to settings and we had fast movement but that just means they were having fun.

The Coops and Bailey were playing up a storm but Cooper was playing with all. Mr. Coops laid on my body last night watching tv. I wanted to think it was me and initially it was then Adele saddled up o me and all he did was stare at her as if I was just this thing he was laying on.

Colby is a huge, huge play monkey these days. I remember the first time he came he was rather nervous and not so sociable but watch out Colby. That is no longer true. Each visit we get to see the inner you. :-)

Cooper also really likes Nora. He will play and play with her. This is such a great group as everyone is mighty comfie with each other. Brie, Colby, Nora and Shady depart tomorrow. Bailey went home with his sister.

Brie really liked Bella.

Nora was trying to figure out what Adele was doing with Bella.

Ms. Panda gets to see her Logie tomorrow. She will be glad to see him.

Kona really has embraced this snow stuff and cold.

Jazmyn is mighty comfie but quiet. She has always been like this but she has really decided she rather loves the Adele. Are you wearing a new perfume, Adele?

I can't believe the black coming in Brie's coat. She was chasing after Nora and Nora was loving it!

What can I say. It's been a great day for all. I have a ton of photos but no time to do a gallery. I got a bath or 2 to do. It's quiet without the pups.

Day Was Too Busy

Too many things going on today. Brewer and Logan was washed. Panda will get washed just before the xray. We had visitors. Lynda dropped in to snuggle with the dogs. Sylvia came to drop off Bailey and play with Bella. Brie and Colby was dropped off by Jane. Russell and Anne dropped off Cooper.

No time for clicking - sorry. But I did get everyone groomed including those that came today.

Dennis made me something with jalapeno peppers that I know I will pay for and frozen Chinese rice that I had to put teriyaki sauce on to disguise the taste. hahahah

So just take my word for it that all had fun and they did. I am just out of steam.

Alene I did manage to capture this. Shady's having so much fun with Cooper and Marlee. What Shady does Nora wants to do too.

Celebrations Plus Snow Photos & Sad News

Tre's a hard worker and his instructor calls him a cool dog as she says you can see him think and figure things out ... Until he does something goofy and them she calls him a little monkey but hey he only just turned 2 !!

It's with a heavy heart I announce that Mogawy (Mugs). " ch Pocopayasos I'm too sexy" went to the rainbow bridge today. He had a possible tumour in his head and congestive heart failure. He will be sadly missed.

The dogs are having a ton of fun but I am juggling so bear with me. It's as if I got semi well and have been off and running ever since. But I have Jeannie to wash, Max to go home, Wasabi and Panda's blog to do and that's just part of it. Oh and a video for the Abs crew. hehe

So just know that the dogs are having fun. The snow is deep and Dennis is shoveling.

Two Updates Today

Jane posted on Facebook (good thing I read Facebook every now and then) that it was Brie's Birthday today and as busy as I am well...... (sigh)

So this is a huge shout out to Brie, Shadow (Shady), Envy, Ossi, Biggie and Lucy - Wasabi's last litter. They were born 4 Feb 2012 and are now 2 Years Old! Wow!!

More Active Day

Kona's a ladies man today.

Then he tries his charms with Abigail. It's a riot. He is certainly not a 1 woman guy. hehehe

I also managed to catch Shoshi and Abigail playing full out! For an old gal Shoshi sure plays up a storm. See what you look forward to?

Logan joined in with Abigail and Shoshi and they rather enjoyed that he did.

I managed to catch Jeannie doing the shake!

Brewer, Adele and Cali were non-stop playing. Everyone played and played today. Now they are all in the tv room laying all over Nathan while he reads and they sleep. Hmm just checked on Nathan and he too is sleeping.

It's a very busy day getting Max stuff ready so he can depart so forgive me for the short update. No time for a gallery.

Sedate Day

Sure some of them hung out with the pups but today we didn't have really crazy running play except first thing this morning. Later on we had hanging out, walking around, napping and a more sedate day. It happens. Think about you having a really full day. The next day you may find you need a more sedate day.

Kona and Brewer really likes each other. Today I caught them on their backs sleeping next to each other. But in comes Roxie and they both get alert and in that state of play mode.

So, a quiet day. But I think it was needed. DJ has departed. They miss his fun.

Now I see Dennis has just taken the dogs out and they are running like banshees. Need to learn how to take great moving photos in the dark. For now I am off to go outside to watch. See the gallery of some hanging out.

No Photo Day

We had company, baths to do for those visiting and well I got to go outside without coughing up a storm. I still do at night but I am jazzed as I can go out and click the pups. But the adults kept coming in with snowballs so I am really tuckered out. So forgive me. No photos today.

They have had a ton of fun and continue to do so. DJ departs tomorrow. Tomorrow I get to get puppies stuff ready. But today everyone is perfectly groomed until they get snowballs. Now I think I am going to take a break and watch tv or play a game or just veg.

Snow Coming Down: Snowballs on Dogs Added

Scruffster and Pepper are playing up a storm. Supposedly we may get up to 9 inches of the white stuff and its the kind that creates snowballs on their coats. This duo is getting a bath to go home at 730pm so they can party hearty tomorrow but with this storm - yeouch. Lori, you sure you don't want them to stay till just before the party? I can see you drying them. :-( Oh well, baths starting at 5pm.

Kona is back to chasing Adele.

He seems to be playing with males and females. He is turning into a total play monkey even more so than last visit and he was playing up a storm then too.

DJ Also likes the gals but he also likes playing with the boys too! He just likes to play!

Truffie didn't play much today. We all have our funk days and this must be his. He's not sick - just wants to sit ad let the snow fall on him. Risa does this at times too.

Scruffy and Pepper are now totally soaked from playing outside. Lori is going to have fun keeping this duo dry. Off to wash in a couple of minutes.

Logan was watching Panda dig up a storm. Is she building a nest or what? tee hee

It's a great day. The weather is warmer but boy the snowballs on the dogs are growing. Can't win!

Do They Play

I put up a bunch of Kona, Ty and DJ up as these were being silly monkeys and having so much fun that we had to click. Hope you enjoy. Oh yeah the rest had fun this morning too but they were silly fun. Pepper and Scruffy came later as I heard they played and had snowballs. They could have came with them and I would have done them. DJ so loves the Pepper but she is saying speak to the paw in a funny way as if she is leading him around with her nose. So funny and he doesn't mind - just play with me! Kona says I will play with you.

Ty has departed but the birthday kids had extra snacks and truly had a grand time today!

Kona and DJ played their bodies out this morning and every now and then Ty would join in too.

As you can see DJ and Kona played and played then Ty joined in.

Yes, the brothers do play with each other and it is delightful to see. I think the longer Kona comes to visit the more he sees opprtunities. He used to just be smitten with the gals but DJ is a guy and he's wow fun too.

Tomorrow I hope to capture Pepper and Scruffy. These photos above was from this morning and then I had blogs to do so hoping to click so never got around to clicking this afternoon and look I am still doing the blog. Got a video and Puppy checklist to finish - oh boy. Well at least everyone got brushed out. :-)

Panda now has her own blog. Spice has hers back up getting updated. Logan was chasing the rabbit - oh boy. Think the rabbit will move on?

Just when we thought it was over off they went running. Then I brushed a great deal this afternoon. Things are normal. Still congested if you can believe. Cold air is not my friend but I have my energy back. I feel very lucky and you can quote me - I will get a flu shot next year. :-)

Leti had class last night and that smartie pants knew where Nathan was keeping the treats.

She has all large dogs in her class and she is doing rather well. It will be good for her to have the exposure for the show.

Next week Adele has Tricks class with a few other Talemaker Havanese and then Leti has her class right after so Thursdays will be long nights as I will be taking care of the dog not in the class and watching. Never did a back to back class. Will I survive? Will Nathan survive?

Scruffy and Pepper are getting a bath tomorrow and going to a Super Bowl Party put on by their humans. Snack time for dawgies too?
