2nd Class

I watched in awe at the trio. They said hello to the big dogs. They played silly with each other. All were doing what they were supposed to and getting it. Tenshi doesn't seem to be able to heel and chew but when you finish and then treat she is just fine. Amy seemed to be doing what she needed to. Nathan was doing his own thing.

Tenshi Visits: Thyme's Weight

Nothing like sisters and today the duo got together to play all day. What fun indeed for both. Here is a gallery. 

Momma Saffron, us and Thyme are beyond excited and so is Tenshi. She has been having a total blast. You will have to see her with the big guys in a gallery in the All About Our Dogs blog.

Thyme also had her 2nd set of shots today. Thyme now weighs 5lb 2 oz. What is everyone's weight?

Thymes First Night

Thyme had her first experience in bed last night and I heard she did well. I was with the pups. She is missing her siblings but she will see 1 or 2 at class in January. She will be so excited and so will we.

I am sure she is wondering where did they go? It's good that Saffron has this one! She is still looking for them even though she saw them depart. <sigh> She will get there.

Amy's New Family

Amy has now departed and only Thyme remains. I look forward to Saffron realizing Thyme will remain. I look forward to visits from this crew. We are hopeful. I know we are taking classes with one other family. I hope more.

Amy's Bath

She was as good as golden. She was a great girl for her bath. Here's the gallery.  I washed Thyme as well cause it just made sense. She cleans up nice. I can't believe she is going tomorrow. We will miss her.

Today Jesse is here and the 2 puppies are getting used to a giant sized dog. At the moment they are not convinced he is harmless. This is good conditioning. 

Getting Close

On Saturday the duo will be a onesome. That means we still need a name for the black and white. It also means baths for both on Friday cause why not give both a bath but we will just do photos of just Amy (brown sable).

Saturday night the one remaining will come to bed. 

They are no longer using the xpen. They prefer hanging out with the older dogs. They have no issue feeding in among them. We will miss Amy. Nathan had really bonded to her thinking she was staying. It's hard but he is adjusting.

Sunday we are getting out of the house. We will need it. 

The Duo

The duo is doing well. They love being with the adults. Soon we will be taking down their pen and then we will just have the moms in this room. I may even get my recliner back. heh

Tenshi's New Family

Tenshi is now beginning her new adventure with her family. She is missed but I hear we will see her every now and then. I am ever so glad. Here is the gallery of her new family.

Tenshi's Last Bath: Look At Those EYES

Here's the gallery from her bath. Is she adorable or what and she has a personality to match. How did she do in a bath? She was a super star.

I was busy playing catch-up grooming my own dogs so Nathan took a video. We have to find names for the 2 remaining pups. It has to be the Spice theme. Ideas?

I can't believe that tomorrow afternoon we will be down to 2 pups. I guess I need to give them baths too. 

Out With the Guys

Let's see, Tenshi goes home on Friday. That means a bath and photos tomorrow. Come Friday night it will just be 2. 

The crew has spent a significant time with the adults inside and out. 

Here's a gallery of them outdoors.The dogs had a blast. I combed out dogs here and there when I could between feedings. 

It will be interesting to see what having 2 hanging out is like. Nathan just loves the spirit of the black and white. 

The pups are about to go out again and then Dennis will take a nap. We are still sick. But pups and adults are having a blast!

Just the Trio

The crew went out with the big dogs. Ignore that everyone isn't brushed. I have an excuse. I am taking a break today. I must. Nathan is sick. I am sick, Dennis is getting better I think. Nathan still managed to get the pups and the adults out many times today but only took the camera out one time. Here is the video from it. 

You can tell they are missing their siblings, This usually happens each time one goes home. It's more difficult on the last one. But in this case there will not be a last one and the 2 will adjust. The next one goes home on Friday. It may be enough time for me to feel human.

Ollie's New Family: Video Added

Here's a gallery of Ollie's new family. Working on a gallery before he departed. Not many as I got back with Adele midstream and a video. It may not be till tomorrow. I am trying.

I didn't even truly get my usual send off special time with this pup. Who knew. But I am sure he is in for a fascinating adventure.

Ollie's Bath

Ollie (Oliver) had his bath and departs tomorrow. How was he? He was a good boy. He relishes the water but not the dryer in his face. On his body - no problem. As I type the crew is heading upstairs to play with Safi and Dennis. Here is a gallery of Ollie's bath. Boy is he a cutie!

Chester's Family

Well, the first has departed. We had a crazy day but we managed to get most things done and I do not want to take away the joy at such a momentous occasion.  

There will be 2 updates today as Ollie is going home tomorrow.

Here is the gallery of Chester's family.  We miss him madly but we are happy that he is on a new adventure. It is sort of like your kids going to university. Crazy, I know.

Here is his kitchen time video with his siblings before departure. Plus his last play outdoors with his siblings video. Think about it this way. When he comes back for a play date or to visit then he will have his 2 siblings here plus a canine mom. That's a bonus.

Chester's Bath

Chester had his bath tonight and was not crazy this time about the dryer but it may have been me. I am rushed tonight and I have a lot on my mind and on my plate. He was a good boy despite the 'really you want to blow that in my face' reaction and he cleans up well. We are going to miss him. Here is the gallery of his bath.

Tomorrow we will be down to 4 pups. Oh my! I wonder how the dynamics will change when he departs.

Didn't Think: Pick Up Times

We are going to try to change pickups from 11 to 2, if possible. With a new litter it means that Dennis has to get back up at 1030am after going to bed at 730am. At 2pm he can at least sleep from 730 till 130 and take a short nap early evening. 

I hope this isn't inconvenient. For Dennis to be able to do the night shift he needs sufficient sleep. I so hope you understand.

No Update Day - To Mini Update: Video and Gallery Added

Dennis may or may not take some photos today of the pups but I am actually too tired to do updates. It's a lot of work and my focus must be on Jeannie, not on blogs. So tomorrow we will play catchup unless Adele has pups. heh

Pups are wonderful. Tomorrow (Saturday) I have to wash the first pup to depart. Who will that be? Chester the brown and white sable. Sunday I wash Ollie, the tri-coloured boy for a Monday departure.

I do the bags, the paperwork etc. I have it all done except for the shampoo and conditioner and grooming spray bottles. The rest, I may have done. :-) We will find out when Nathan says - where is x?

They run. They play. They sail through the air much like Saffron does. Saffron has so much fun with them. She is totally delighted when we take them outdoors. She plays with them so well. Check out today's gallery. Today they played with Leo (Emmy's pup). We shall see who they play with this afternoon.

They are growing and they are truly perfecting their skills by running, jumping and plain having fun. Can't wait to see how this crew does in obedience class.

Indoor and Outdoor

It started sprinkling so we started with indoor play this morning. Then it remained cloudy but it was warm enough to wear just a t-shirt without a sweater. What a wonderful fall we are having when there is no rain. 

Pups then went outside and played their hearts out with Leo (Emmy's pup), Murphy, Trouble and Cinnamon. Did I miss anyone? Here is the video. They are such great pups. Remember Leo is 4 weeks older than this crew. Sure there is still a size difference but not as much as just before Emmy's crew departed.

I can not believe the first one heads out on Sunday and we may have 2 remaining here as one family had a timing issue with a new job. So looks like the black and white gal will be hanging out for a bit longer.

The pups are really something else. They have a delightful amount of fun. None of them have personalities that are too busy. They play. They sleep. They entertain themselves. Here is today's gallery. I do not have any screams for attention or I need to get out now. They seem to be a pretty happy lot.

Today the littlest one mastered the staurs. She got up on her own and I showed her how to get down and she has been going up and down ever since.

Today they got to play with Murphy (boy) and Rusty. They had fun. We also had Daisy out but she wasn't sure what to think about them.
