Alvin's Bath Before He Departs

Nathan was playing with the flash so the photos do not do him justice. Gerda and her sister saw him and went wow. He's a wow in a small package but they each are in their own way.

The flash didn't bring out the browns in him. Oh well, it's how you learn. I think I will hide the flash. heh

Here's his gallery.

How did he do in the bath? He just stood there. He didn't mind any of it. He wasn't crazy about his pads getting cleaned but other than curling his toes, he didn't complain. Oh yeah, Tosca curled her toes too. It must tickle to take a clipper to the pads.

I can't believe we will be down to 4 on Saturday, 3 on Sunday and 2 on Monday. then Charlie comes back for a visit. Fun!!

Radar's New Family: Plus Gallery and Video Added

Angela, Patches, Ed and Radar are pictured here. Have to say I love Ed's sense of humour. He made me laugh in the photos. Check it out

Here are the duo eating kangaroo tendons.

Here is a gallery before Radar departed. Now also be sure to check out the video before Radar departed.

Alvin is the next to depart from Roxie's crew on Saturday.

Radar's Bath Before Home

Here's his gallery. How did he do? He wasn't crazy about the bath. Mostly he just stood there and let me do what I had to. He was plucked from a play session upstairs so he was not a happy to be having a bath vs a play session but he was a good boy. Blow drying he was more tolerant as I figure he knew he was going to soon be back playing.

He's a mighty pretty boy. They all seem to be from the 2 litters.

Tomorrow - already - first of Roxie's to depart.

Good Exposures

This is Mickey and Ozzie. I just love how Mickey has developed in the last few weeks. He really went through the I try, ooops didn't make it and next time I did experience. As he is the smallest he has had to pull himself up on the stairs, jump up on the chair, make it on top of the crate and due to his determination, he accomplished it all. What a fun snuggly character he is. Mickey, you are quite the amazing one. Just because you are small doesn't mean you can't do. I just love how he plays with Ozzie too. See more photos on the Adele gallery. I didn't take any outdoor video. I was sort of trying to get dogs cleaned and get ready for pups going home. So much work - plus getting things done so the daughter and grand kids can move in.

I need a stiff drink and good Japanese food. hahahaha

Who is Next?

Radar is next but he's got Patches to go home to. I am so glad that we do this spend time with the new family member as then they have a sense of familiarity when everything else is so new.

They have to adjust to so much but they do.

Time to get Radar's paperwork done. 3 more days and it is his turn. Then the ones that look alike will be in their respective homes and then confusion will cease till Charlie comes back to visit. heh.

Upstairs Play When Raining

Someone was in hot pursuit with Satch. Do you know who? The pups got soaked outside but won't be going out again as Charlie had his bath. Check out the gallery.

We believe in conditioning them to all weather. If they know what this wet stuff is, it will make it easier for you.

Here's an upstairs play session with a video of the pups climbing all over our grand daughter Danielle.

The floor is a mess as their feet was wet but that's okay. They had a ton of fun.

Meet Mickey

He is the most loving boy. He doesn't depart till the 20th so we are lucky to have him hang around for 8 more days.

The pups have been having a great amount of fun. Inside, outside but oh boy I had the camera going and one dragged the sibling across the floor and no complaints from the one getting dragged. I had to say, no, I don't think so. Check it out. Now if he did complain, the sibling should have stopped. To them they were having great fun. I still felt despite the lack of complaints, that was not a fun game to perfect so I curtailed it.

Here's a couple of other videos I captured.

Lil Bit of Puppy Fun

Who are you. You say your name is Mabel?

Pups had a tremendous amount of fun. They have been outdoors a few times and indoors on the first floor another and will be going upstairs in a bit.

Pups do have fun.

This is a video of Cali playing, Pepi playing with pups but not nearly as much captured that I thought - well hardly any was but they did play. You see I think I was too busy watching. Tomorrow is a new day. Here is a gallery of the day too.

Leaves, Yum!

Got to taste everything you know. Pups slept in today. It was strange as usually when it is 7am, they say - okay time to go downstairs.

They are playing up a storm. I watched them on video at bedtime. It was interesting to see who was sleeping with whom.

Here's a few videos.

Inside or on Top?

Well, we all found it fascinating to crawl on top of this bag. It's a new style to us so up and over and on top we went. They notice one is missing. Which is interesting but they got some tendons and they have ben distracted with that. Now they are off to upstairs to play.

Here are some videos from today.
