New Digs

Here is a video. This is exactly when I placed them in. Now they are all over the xpen and mighty comfie. Remember they are not that old. Tomorrow night they turn 3 weeks old.

The pups had flooring expose but they are not ready for it. The floor is too slippery. Check it out. So I covered up the area so they had traction.

Here are a couple of other videos and I am being told I have class so I must get the blogs done. hahahaha

Too Crazy Day: UPDATE

Well, see if this makes sense. They updated the ipad mini version of the software I use to record my videos with. I need to use it as it brings down the size. Well, since their update I only get black screens. The programmer says he will have it fixed today but Apples window is 10 days before it will debut in itunes. So, all day off and on I have been looking for temporary solutions till I get the update. I found one. It's not the best. It won't save in .mov files but hopefully you can view them. I have to use Foscam's software so I can only do it from my desktop. I them have to compress it with another program. Tedious so I look forward to the fix, So, 2 videos a day is all I can do per blog - maybe 3 if we are lucky.

Here are the videos.

Trying to Walk

Starting to Play

Along with this I have washed dogs. We are busy trying to move a couch and reset up this room and take the pups out of the whelping box. This is so we can make room for Panda. It will be crowded again in here but when the Jeannie pups go home we will be back to having space, I suppose.

Pups are delightful. They are hugely social. They all go on their backs. They do not mind their bums getting washed under a sink if they get dirty.

It's really great fun to spend time with them.

I am a little fried. So if I cut this short please understand. I still have a ton to do to get this room ready and I need to update the rest of the blogs. Nathan is outside reading... hmmm

Argh Day

Pups are wonderful but the program I use to record videos on my ipad updated and now all my videos are black. They are 'investigating' it but til then no videos. I could scream.

I may be doing manual videos starting tomorrow but today its a no video day.

Pups are wonderful, fat and very friendly. They like being held and are very trusting.

Two and a Half Weeks Old

Isn't he adorable sleeping like that? These are ahhh moments for me. Look at that belly!

Did you know these pups were born on September 17th and Jeannies was born on August 17th. I doubt Pandas will be born on the 17th. :-)

As Jeannie is stopping her pups from eating I decided to let her feed some of Roxie's here and there. Roxie is fine with it. Why am I doing it when Roxie is doing just fine with them? If Panda has a large litter she may need help. This way we have 3 moms with milk. It will help. By feeding Roxie's Jeannie will still supply milk. Of course if we find out its not needed then we will let Jeannie make that transition. This way Jeannie gets all that extra food longer too. :-)

The pups are really trying to walk and at times they are doing a rather great job at it.

By Monday or Tuesday we will have them out of their pen as Panda will need the whelping box and the heat lamp.

There are so many changes for these pups coming up and this room coming up. Lots of work too.

Here are a few videos I hope you enjoy.

Rox Watching Pups

Roxie had a bath this afternoon. The kids had really had her looking grungy. No matter how much I combed her out she just looked - well messy.

Traffic Jam

I call this a traffic jam as they seem to walk all over each other, go every which way practicing their walking. All have their eyes open and they have started to sleep a little longer giving momma Roxie a break inbetween.

Here are a few videos.

I tried getting individual photos of the crew but I was on my own so they are not the greatest but here they are. They are a bit overexposed as the light was coming in from the windows.

They are chunky monkeys.

We have more eyes open and they are active as ever. This usually happens when they can see. Soon they will be out of their whelping box and Panda will be using it next.

Two Weeks Tonight Plus Cute Videos

The crew is starting to walk.

Click on Photo for Larger ViewThey have started to become more animated.

Click on Photo for Larger ViewAs you can see first born gal is the first to open her eyes. If anyone else opens theirs we will add it here unless its not till tomorrow. But I suspect it will be today for a few others.

Click on Photo for Larger ViewI get to see it first and Daddy gets to get a photo opportunity.

I am so excited as this means more fun is in store.

The pups last night only gained minimally or no gain. No losses but that tells me they are expelling energy trying to walk.

Everyone else is ho,ding out so far but watch these videos.

Almost 2 Weeks Old

They have hit the 1 lb mark. wow Jeannie's hit this before this point but 3 vs 6 is why. Jeannie has milk for 6 pups. Roxie has milk for 6 pups. Figure it out. :-)

They are now trying to walk. I will have to get some video but as I said I was busy. They are starting to get interesting but no eyes open yet. Soon.

Only have 2 videos of them eating in a new way.

Video 1

Video 2

Otherwise they are good. They eat, they sleep and they dream puppy dreams but soon it will get interesting.

Cleaning the Pups

The pups are pretty good at navigating from here to there. No signs of eyes being open yet. No real slits.

Tomorrow I will take individual photos of the pups so you ca see them upclose and personal.

The blogs are short tonight as I am exhausted.
