Sorry this is late. I got hacked yesterday so I had to invest a lot of time in protecting myself. This photo says it all. Happy belated to Dante, Lucky and Coco. Hope you are still celebrating!
The photos arrived with:
Thank you Darlah and Nathan. He is just wonderful and delicious:)
Cheers
What do you do on a day off? You read outside with your hat on and dogs surrounding you. LOL The dogs love it!
Time to groom as they can certainly use a groom.
It was warmish. Car is fixed. Nathan had a good time at class but got in just before 10pm. Late night. Today he is chilling.
Ms Daisy has been visiting for the day. Coco the Maltese was here for the day. Coco a day visitor was here and Coco the extended stay is here. Do you have that all digested? Buddy is also here for an extended stay.
It's been a good day but busy when someone has a day off. :-)
Plus my messenger acct got hacked so that was a time consuming endeavor. Oh well... Hope they had fun.
Lachlan loves to corner Kinsey. I laugh at their antics. He has so much fun here, it is unreal!
Car is fixed just in time for dog class for Nathan. Over 2 grand but it was undrivable even though Nathan drove it. Swat that guy. All 4 brakes, struts, calipers and this is from a really trustworthy mechanic. Pool is still not fixed. Basement to be done. I give up. What a month.
Dogs liked this warmer weather. It was so cold this morning, I thought we were back to winter. I gave the dogs a break from grooming. Yes, they enjoy a break too.
Magic is here - Bailey is coming. Harper is departing soon.
It is Nathan's day off tomorrow and I hear wonderful weather to laze outside with the dogs. He so needs this. I bet the dogs are going to enjoy it immensely too!
Hope you have a wonderful true taste of spring too!
Butch is over for a visit for the day. Nathan took 2 small videos of him.
He had a blast and I mean a TOTAL blast. He especially enjoyed Kinsey to a great degree and his canine mom.
Here is the gallery of the last 2 days. I am playing catch up with everything, it seems. Sorry. It happens.
Pool is still an issue. Nathan needs to take in the van tomorrow and he has to take our granddaughter to dog class with her 2. As her mom, our daughter is out and usually is on one dog, she is unavailable so he needs to take her. It gives him an opportunity to spend time with Sarah.
No Spicy today to greet the front door. It's strange. It is almost quiet. LOL No Kinsey and Cooper but Kinsey has Butch and she is loving it!
It is Dennis day off so a lot of juggling.
I had the dogs out. It is like a winter day. Yes, they are still having fun but really - enough.
Ms Tenshi I think is getting picked up. Ms Amy, Ms Daisy and Winston was here for the day.
I asked for the couch to be put out and they said REALLY. I guess they are right. Yes, it is an outdoor couch that I love to use when outside as the dogs can sit on it with me. I am hopeful but... it is cold.
Hi Darlah and Nathan:
Just checking in to see how you both are doing and to share some pictures on the occasion of our dear Moxie's birthday. I can't believe it has been 6 years. What wonderful joy and love she has brought to us. We wish all her litter mates best wishes on their birthdays - and there were a fair number of littermates if I recall. Cinnamon, Toupie, Archie, Farley, Murphy, Velvet, Secret, and Ines. All beautiful puppies of the wonderful Spice.
We are so thankful for our girl. She is such a great spirit and she keeps us entertained every day. We appreciate the great start in life that you gave her at Talemakers, and we know just how lucky we are that you blessed us with this girl. I am forever grateful.
I hope you are well and I also hope that we can again begin travelling again soon, so that Moxie can visit and enjoy spending some time again with her Talemakers family.
Keep well,
MaryLou
Kitty would like to wish her siblings Ellie, Logan, Louis, Ollie and Teddy a very Happy 2nd Birthday. A special hi to Mom Leti and Dad Stone and of course Darlah, Nathan and all the Talemaker Family. Now back to the party!
Jim and Derek
Hi Nathan & Darlah,
Just wanted to send a birthday pic of two year old Ollie! He is truly the happiest go-luckiest pooch - always up for a game of chase, a treat, or a snuggle. Charms everyone he meets, except maybe the squirrels, birds, and bunnies who dare to set foot in the yard! Still a ball of puppy-like energy, but also (finally) happy to sleep in!
Happiest of birthdays also to his brothers and sisters: Logan, Ellie, Kitty, Teddy, Louis (& of course Nami & all the other litter pals)!
Hope you’re all well and getting ready for a summer of fun, sun, & swimming.
Cheers!
Ollie & family
------------
This was yesterday's birthday. Apologies. I did not check mail yesterday as I started grooming at 8am and finished late last night crawling into bed at midnight. if I missed a photo - apologies - send again and I will post. I am just doing bityhday photos today. I am trying to take a day off. We shall see how that goes.
Teddy is 2 today. Happy birthday to a sweet, cute boy and happy birthday to his siblings Logan, Ollie, Kitty, Louis and Ellie. Thanks to Darlah and Nathan and momma Lettie for so much joy and love.
Saffron was just brushed out and is happy that is over. LOL I should trim her feet. LOL Who has time today?
I am doing the blog early as I have Spicy and Cooper to do right up till bedtime. This way they will stay clean as they depart first thing in the morning. Cooper I will line dry and he will take a few hours. Spicy will most likely be less than 2 hours. So, we will not begin till after dinner. They eat at 430.
It was fine then the rain came. So the dogs got out when it wasn't raining and now they look as if to say - really? Cooper doesn't care and neither do I. I like the rain to stand out in and so does Cooper. He won't be able to go out after his spa session. He will be last.
Ms Bailey departed a bit ago and brought me an ice cap with whip cream. Yum! I am sure it is psychological but it wakes me up.
Tomorrow is my day off after I do a finishing on Cooper and Spicy. I haven't had a day off for weeks. First thing Nathan said was I haven't had a day off. I laughed. Who grooms from morning till night? But that's okay. They also have 1 day off this week too. It is a chance to regroup. Maybe rain or not I will lay outside under the gazebo like Nathan does daily. Sometimes I do not even have a clue what the weather is.
Our pool is still not fixed so now we have yet another person coming out to see why - yes at a cost. Nathan is frustrated. At least the weather is not hot. I am thankful for that or I would have to buy a kiddie pool and sit in that with the dogs. Now that would be funny.
Thursday the car goes in for repair. I am cringing at that. Life....
Ellie was over and having the time of her life with and without Lachlan. Okay she and he played with others too.
Ms Harlow is at home and I am reminded that she is not here each dinner time when there is no one whimpering to eat. I hope she is eating at home.
Mickey st ill remembers his brother Stone. It is amazing their reaction to each other. It is noce when they come that they remember well.
Opus is about to depart and I need to freshen him up. Catch you tomorrow!
The dogs did a lot of sunbathing as I noticed each time I checked after grooming. Nathan was sunbathing too. I was jealous. The only break I got was to make him lunch as I listened for the timer to go off from the grooming room.
The dogs really enjoy this weather. Me too. When I get time off, it seems like it decides to rain. I think that is called Murphy's law.
More rain coming tomorrow but I have 7 dogs to groom so I do not care about the rain except the feet and underside clean up.
Pool is still an issue. At least it is too cool to swim.
I can't believe Cooper and Spicy are going home early Tuesday morning so they will get their spa night tomorrow night before bedtime. Mom and dad will be coming too early to get them done for an early pickup. I think Murphy also goes on Tuesday.
Tia and Benji just departed. Coco who is Nathan's shadow departs tomorrow. Mia will depart shortly. Mickey arrives tonight.
I am going to stand outside for 10 minutes and feel the sun. Wish me luck!~
Can we tell it is spring? Yep!
Cooper had his thin out session this morning - each day and his hair now feels silky and thin. I have been using Ouidad Detangling spray. His hair should be extra conditioned now. LOL It is meant for humans with curls which I do not have. But someone said you must try so I did. It's pricey but nice! I did try dog shampoo and conditioner that Dorothy brought me and it made my hair greasy. LOL Did try it on one dog but not with draped hair and no difference. Dorothy suggested I try it on Cooper and Spicy when they depart in a few days but I think I will try it on another dog first as I want Cooper and Spicy going home silky true and tried but if it works on Saffron - perhaps. The duo goes home in a few days. How did that happen? You can stay longer - lol!
Our heater for our pool shuts off after 10 minutes. We are so frustrated. I guess more frustrated if it was hot. Water is only 51 and should be easily 70 by now.
The dogs had wet. Cooper could care less. Spicy give me dry. The dogs are enjoying outside while Nathan figures out the heater. Me - I give up. The dogs are all congregated around him as if to say - what?
Mr. Harper departed. A few dogs came for day visits. Lots go tomorrow and I have a ton of grooming to do on the nicest day of spring to come. Of course. Monday is the same. I am not done grooming the dogs yet. I do a couple here and there but always manage to finish but for now, Nathan got some vanilla ice cream and I am having a rootbeer float. I have not had one in EONS. Such a treat. I just wish it was Dairy Queen. LOL
The dogs are enjoying the day!
It was warm today. The pool heater is now working without a leak. Pool is green. Pool cleaner in and Kinsey is not afraid of it. We have to empty the pool cleaner out every half hour. Usually the new dogs are with something moving inside the pool. We are adding water and it will get cold again - of course. Our van needs to be fixed. First available is Thursday - of course.
The dogs had a delightful sunbathing sessions or 2 or 3 outdoors. They were mighty pleased with the weather. Us too.
Rain tomorrow. Delightful Sunday, they say! Then rain again! Spring weather.
Dennis made a zuchinni and spinach pizza. It was so bad. But he tried! It really wasn't edible. The crust was great.
Bonham was here and found Ella is his style - his ball of energy - let's sun, let's snuggle and life is good.
Coach and Sassy just left. Relatives came over outside and visited the dogs so they got a lot of loving in. Cooper jumped up on one of their laps as if he was a spry little dog. It was a good day.
Yes, there is a happy 1st below too. Same day - wow a year apart. :-)
Happy 2nd birthday Rosey !!!( and to Nami and their siblings !
Pepper says happy birthday to her siblings!
Hi Darlah and Nathan,
Here are some photos of Miss Pepper Potts on her first birthday
Thank you to the Talemaker family for giving us our spunky, spicy girl.
She may or may not hate this costume but shes definitely our princess.
Take care,
Rebecca
We put her in her party outfit tonight and she did not like the outfit ๐. She loves the toy cake though! Happy 1st Birthday to Astro, Pepper and Vivi with love from Jersey!
Hi Darlah,
Vivi is a year old today, here is a picture of her enjoying the Spring sun on her first birthday. She wants to say Happy First Birthday to her sisters Jersey, Pepper, and Astro! Thank you to Sage and the Talemaker family for this perfect girl who brings the sunshine with her wherever she goes!
Hardly any photos today as it was raining till just about now. Sun is out but it is wet and muddy. I tried taking photos of Ozzie who is above and he was a moving target. It's an art!
Bailey is visiting us for a few days. Ty departs tonight. Heat is coming by Sunday! We are still waiting for the heater guy. He says today but bet its not till tomorrow. We shall see!
The dogs are eating now and I am short blogging!
This is Kinsey's 1st experience with an open pool. It is green. It was shocked and we can't put the pool on as we have a leak on the pipe going to the heater and it is a significant one. So, we must wait for a call to see when someone can come out to repair it. We also need to add water but why if you can't run the pool equipment. Good news as its not swimming weather yet. LOL We were reminded by the pool opening guy that pools are now costing around 50 grand to put in these days. I guess we wouldn't have put in a pool.
Glad it was over 25 years ago since ours was put in. We do so enjoy the pool and so do the dogs. It's our staycation.
Harper and Ella get along spendidly. He really loves her. Ella is low key and her fave errxperience is swimming and sunbathing. She bathes on a certain bed all winter long and now Harper does it with her.
Mr Cooper had a big session with thinning his coat out. I have been doing it daily but today was a mega session.
All photos was taken before grooming except with Spicy and Cooper who gets done right after breakfast most times.
The weather was good. It still is good. It is a good day despite the pool. hahahahaha
The white stuff is gone. The rain and mud is here. The dogs don't want to go out and well I am cleaning a great deal. Dennis is cleaning the floors. I should have some device that sits on the floor. As they come in, it dries and blows the dirt out. How is that for dreaming? Each season brings its own set of cleaning fun. Even in the summer we have to comb out dogs after the pool. It's okay. It is life!
No photos of the muddy times. I am too busy freshening them up.
Miss Harlow departs tonight. Pepper, Leo and Astro already departed. Now their parents have the job of keeping them clean. sigh
The dogs still have their runs just from bedroom to bedroom - up and down the halls. Then they rest. Dennis too. hahaha
If you think your dog doesn't have expressions, you haven't looked at them enough is all I am going to say! Are you done?
My feet are cold. I am tired from all the grooming and I am sad I missed Dorothy. Maybe next time I see her, it will be warm so we will be outside in the back and maybe the pool will be open. Thank you, Dorothy and really sad I missed you! It is cold!
Coach and Sassy are here. They are from Wasabi's 1st litter. They are siblings. Yes, we placed siblings but not at the same time.
Dennis had a nice birthday yesterday where chores was not part of his day. I am glad.
We have comings ands goings. Tv watch and the run game with Dennis. Spicy beat evceryone yesterday as she took a shortcut. Smart gal. One has to laugh.
Mr. Harper has found cuddles with another dog and if his face is any indicator, he says it is the best. Miss Harlow departs tomorrows night. She is going to miss rubbing herself on the pool cover. We will have to get her swimming this summer.
Leo also departs tomorrow morn. He had a ton of fun!
It has been a cold day but a fun one. I have slippers on to keep my feet warm. I am off to the recliner while Dennis fixes dinner for the dogs and I get warm.
Having a frustrating issue with uploading galleries and I tried every which way. I had to put in a ticket and hope to have today's gallery up but as this is a holiday weekend - who knows. I may have to play catchup after it is fixed.
This is Misty's Ollie after a groom and bath. Juno has hers too but no photos as no gallery. argh
We had snow on the ground. It is Dennis' bday and it is his day off entirely so I did the photos.
It is cold out. Diamond, Juno and Ollie have departed. Ty, Coach and Sassy has arrived.
Wednesday the pool gets opened. It means tomorrow we must organize and empty out the pool house.
Cooper had another thinning out.
As it is Dennis day off, I need to do everything that he usually does and that's a great deal. LOL So, I best get moving.
Great to see you back posting, Dorothy! Give your duo a hug!
Just a few - the way they look at the camera. There are more of them in the gallery.
Some are posers - some not. LOL
It's a cool weather weekend.
We wish everyone a Happy Passover - Happy Easter or whatever you do or do not celebrate. Just stay warm and enjoy!
Katie is off to go home and everyone is enjoying...
It's been rain off and on and I decided tomorrow I will play catchup. It's the holiday weekend. Happy Passover and Happy Easter to those that celebrate.
I can't seem to upload a graphic here. I have submitted a ticket but its a long weekend.
It is a no groom day so the dogs have a day off - me too. Tomorrow back at it. I only had Coco to groom who is departing at 830pm tonight. I was going to take it as a day off. Dennis has Sunday off as it is his birthday.
The dogs had fun. I am tired so short blog. Sorry...
Wednesday the pool gets open. So it begins.
