Two Weeks Old

Here is the gallery.

Look who opened their eyes - yes he did. He was the first to have squinty eyes and the last to fully open them. What a riot. He is the belly up boy that I have so fondly named that. Just because. His new family won't call him that but if I say the belly up boy, you know who I am speaking about.

All pups are doing really well. All eyes are open now.

Here is your gallery.

No one new has opened their eyes yet but may anytime.

These pups are getting round and well comfie with each other. They love the comfort of puppy pillows - using each other for pillows and comfort. Snuggling is the best.

12 Days Old: Eyes Open for Some

Here is the gallery.

Not sure the pups want to open their eyes. It's so funny. I will take a look when they wake up and get any photos of them with eyes open and post them to the gallery and to this blog.

Every once in awhile, you will see one of them attempting to get up on their legs. This strenthens their legs so they can full out walk.

They are gaining and want for nothing. Willow is such a great mom!

Three out of 5 have eyes open. We await the last 2. Photos have been added to the gallery, as well.

We are on wait.

Pups are gaining and at times trying to use their legs.

10 Days Old

Do you see this copper looking puppy who has cream on him as well? He's under a pup, in this photo above. He has a bit more trhan squinty eyes. So, will he open his eyes today - tomorrow? We shall see. The other 3 are just slits. As the litters are so close, you may see the N ami pups opening their eyes at the same time as Willow pups. I am on watch. So far, I am the one who has seen it first. How exciting.

This copper boy with cream, I nicknamed him belly up boy as I see him on his back quite a bit. The siblings also use him as a pillow.

It will be interesting to see all the litters together as we have copper and cream in another crew - do we not? :-)

The pups are doing well and gaining.

9 Days Old

All the pups are getting fat little tummies. They are ever so cute. I hold and snuggle with them as much as I can. I so enjoy that experience. You would too.

The colours are starting to bleed through. It is fascinating how colourful all the litters are. It will be fun when all the pups have eyes open and start to play. I think when they are placed together, we may leave an xpen in an L shape. That may make sense. I rarely hear this crew fuss as Willow seems to anticipate.

8 Days Old

At 7 to 10 days, pups are supposed to double their birth weight and all pups have achieved this. Weight gain fluctuate from day to day gaining a small amount or a large amount but they gain daily. Their weight gains will slow down when they are mobile as they expel more energy.

It will be fun to see them mobile.

I make their whelping box and often Willow makes a mess of it. I have to laugh.

Full Week Old

Here is the gallery.

Can you believe a full week ago these beauties made their debut. Willow is such a great mom. She makes sure each time they make a noise, their needs are met. They do sleep a bit between feedings so she can get out of the sun and heat lamp and relax.

The apricot boy with white on its neck and head is often found belly up. The others so far are mostly found belly down. They crawl all over the place.

6 Plus Days Old

They almost blend into this pad but you can see them. Pups are all well. They are getting round tummies. It is hard to believe how close in age they are. No wonder why each day I feel I can't function without coffee.

It is going to be fun seeing the puppy visits and having them play and run the halls. So much to look forward to.

5 Plus Days Old

Here is the gallery.

Willow doesn't wait till her pups fuss to feed them. She anticipates and wames them up to feed. I believew she is listening to her body. I have milk and I am filling up - it is time. They sometimes fuss when she wakes them up but then they go - oh it is food time.

All pups continue to gain weight. They sleep decently between feedings. One or 2 at a time crawl up into my lap to cuddle. Moms need balance too.

Some videos are up. I will add a few more.
