Swimming Day

No time for updates but we did well. Here's the gallery. Plus here is the video. It was so time consuming that I am way behind doing everything and I have a dog to wash and clip tonight as he goes home early tomorrow.

Today's Plan

Today we placed an xpen around the yard to block them from getting to the pool and don't you know it, several got out. This is why I told Dennis we have to do it today. He was having none of it. Then he finally relented. It was a good thing as we found out how to correct it. I didn't want to be doing this on Saturday.

So, bring a towel to sit on in case it is damp as we will be on the grass and you will LOVE the experience. It's a larger area than the deck and you will see a new kind of fun upclose and personal.

Here's Grassy Times gallery.

Fun Times Always

I have to say he is getting to be mighty stunning with his colors bleeding through and his personality. This is the time frame you can tell that the Jeannie pups are slightly older.

We had fun in the grass, on the deck and the weather cooperated.

Here is a gallery taken today.

Got to figure out if I have enough xpen to block off one side of the pool so Saturday we can have grass play. We shall see.

Grass is the Best

Oh now that they have been bitten they LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the grass and exploring.

I just realized that I have 18 pups to get ready for Saturday again. Oh boy! Now I am trying to figure out if we should have the visit in the grass so you can see them move. Oh they will come up to you as well but the display of energy is something special!

Here is the morning play session.

Ground Perspective

Just as I predicted, his colours are all starting to bleed through.

We had a blast today - well I did. Nathan's back is hurting hi so it was me and the pups with Dennis helping.

We did a little time in the pen. We did the upper deck play and then all 18 were in the grass together. We were brave souls. I also took the cameras and place them on the ground so I got a different perspective in the video. They even licked the video lens so I had tongue blur for the rest of the time. Here's the video.

I have to say, it was very challenging as they wanted to be on top of the camera too much. It was fun!

Cheeky One

I think my name will be cheeky - well not seriously. I am just like my mom. If you don't rub my tummy or pay attention to me, I will bark just like my mom but then I forget and my mind is on something better - at least at the moment.

To be fair, he rarely does it now but its so funny when he does. I caught it on video today. I just don't let him think he's cute when he tries it. He's learning it's not working and although he tries it out for size, he soon realizes it doesn't work. They all try it. It's how receptive or not receptive you are that guides how they get you to do what they want. In this video he had tried to get me to pick him up. You see, I was paying attention to those OTHERS. :-)

He is such a huge play monkey. He's starting to really make me smile. He's also a courageous soul! I can see why Jeannie loves him so.

Here's another gallery.

Still Changes

Yes, even days between you see changes on how they deal with an irritant or how they share. We even have new things to expose them to. Each time they seem to rise to the challenge.

Teeth are all coming in. They are eating food. This morning we woke up to all output on the pads. Bravo.

Moms are indeed trying to wean - well everyone but Spice. Here's a gallery of the pups in the grass - yes again!

What's Out There?

We had a romp in that green stuff those humans call grass. Wow was that special. We had to do it today as rain is slated for tomorrow. It was just the mom and Dennis watching them around the pool. Those photos and videos will be up on TOMORROW's blog. This was just a tease. :-)

Sunny But Cool

Blogs are extra short today. I was busy this morning doing way too much and the guys in my life didn't click but here is my clicks this afternoon

Pups are starting to sew their oats. They irritate each other. They try to yank each others tails or pull ears. It's all in fun but now the pups are letting each other know when they are not in the mood or someone is simply too much. This is the time frame where they start to get dog communication and it is a good thing. A singleton has a tough time with this except by its mother. There is nothing like a bunch of siblings to tell you - I don't think so. All the pups seem to be getting it. It doesn't stop them from trying but they don't persist. That's wonderful!

A Love

This Jeannie boy is such a lover. Kiss, kiss, hugs - he is so much into snuggling into you.

Here's a gallery taken today. Blogs are short as we have them playing indoors on the 1st floors as its simply too damp and cold.
