Upstairs Without Moms

Yes, the pups had an upstairs experience without moms upstairs. Tonight (poor Dennis) has tried to expand the pen as Nathan felt it needed to be better. As that is our puppy storage room, well making the pen larger is tricky and almost impossible but Dennis has spent from 430 and is still working to do it. Bless him!

How did they do? They were asleep when we got up but oh boy what a mess. We are hoping with the new setup that its a better sight in the morning.

We had water poured on us. We dunked in teh water and that human made a motion of us swimming. We were great. Here is our gallery. We dried outside. We took a long nap after. Then we ate and are napping again. Yes, we still nap a great deal at this stage. We had perfect timing as we missed being out in the rain.

Well this is the first day we didn't get the pups outside as it was raining and now we have dinner and then Trouble's last class. I did have them out of the pen but as I was all alone I didn't click photos. I just cleaned, sterilized and redid the pen.

Outdoor Adventures

For some reason the last 2 days they are not overly happy being outside. I think they are adjusting to the heat. Remember pups cry when they are too hot and cuddle up when too cold. We have had a lot of fussing the last couple of days but now that the air is working the crying has stopped. 

Yesterday I put one of those magic bean things I had in the freezer into the pen and they all laid on it. It cooled them off.

Too hot and the air is not working so we are making blogs short.

Here is today's gallery. You will see many pups with tongues out. As we have cooling mats down, it is much cooler in the house for the dogs. Now to call an air conditioning guy as our air conditioning lines are frozen over - joy. I may sleep outside with the dogs. :-)

Outside

The pups had a fun time outdoors and in. They are now eating food throughout the day. Their bowels are solid (formed) but slightly soft. This is good from a diet change. 

They are doing really great with all the changes thrown at them.

32 Days Old

Who is in that bowl? It is such a funny reaction but a number of them had it. They stared at that reflection trying to figure it out. 

The pups did have an adventure outside and they did eat their first solids. Check out Spice's blog to see the video when it makes it up there.

The Jeannie pups are now 4 weeks and 4 days old. Wow. 

My goal is to get them upstairs without moms by Friday. We will see if we actually meet that goal. This means from 10pm till 7am they will just have each other with cameras on them so we can listen and watch.

We are 4 weeks and 3 days. We are old enough to be outside. But play we did then sleep we desired. Wait till you see the video. When it makes it online, you will enjoy.

We also have a video I am uploading of Sarah and her friend Ashley playhing with the pups. I will post them on this blog when they arrive online. 

Let's see they played with Sarah and her friend. They were walked around outside in my arms. They played on the deck. They also had their nails cut.

Oh, and they are teething.

30 Days Old

We are edging up on a month old and in some months over a month old.

Pups are hitting the pad more than not but still having issues. They are rather young and this is normal at this stage. It means I do a lot of laundry.

4 Weeks 1 Day Plus Weights

We have decided to try them on feeding this Saturday night or Sunday. It ought to be interesting trying to get them all eating. I gather we will have to have 2 huge circular bowls. Going to be interesting. 

Here are their weights as of today:

Darker Tri Boy 2lb 5-6/8oz

Girl 2lb 1-3/8oz

Tri Looks Like Jeannie 2lb 1-2/8oz

Their weight gains has slowed down. The darker tri who is slowly but surely having the colour bleed through was the largest. He remains the largest but not by much any longer.
