Roxie's temps this morning was 100.0
She is due the 24th to 28th. It means she could go the 22nd. So, we check her temps too. The vet felt that Spice and Roxie's calcification was very similar leading him to believe they will have pups around the same time.
99.9 at 1140am this morning and she is eating sparingly. First due date is the 24th and can go 2 days earlier. Temps are 100.5. We are safe to get sleep tonight. Hooray!
They count 6. Roxie and Spice could go at similar times after Jeannie.
The human has to get all the supplies ready as if she is having pups just in case. We really doubt we will need it but you are always ready. then we take the long trek to the vets and back. I am also busy brushing everyone out and Nathan is taking a nap as he is tired from an interrupted sleep.
We will post tonight. Doubt I will have many photos of the adults but I am sure you understand.
Well Roxie is being VERY particular about what she is eating and she is only eating small meals (half her meal) so she is eating morfe frequently. You only do this with pregnant moms.
A dam approaching full term, day 60, will start to shed her plug. This plug can shed, or shed a little daily for up to a week before delivery; four to five days prior is very common. Well Roxie has already begun. What that means, who knows. Xrays will be more telling.
Remember the order is Jeannie, Spice and Roxie calculated on their first mating but they can take on their 3rd or what have you mating throwing that order completely off kilter.
Hoping we can put up all xrays to see calcification to give us an idea of who is delivering in what order. We shall see.
Roxie is into taking naps these days as are all the moms. Vets on Monday and then we do the waiting game like you. I still have not made it to the consignment shop. I also have to get supplies if I don't have something. I am hopeful I have the time.
Roxie loves laying on the cool tile. Her weight - not sure today.
Here is a photo of all 3 gals together. Roxie stays nice and brushed. What's that about? I can't tell you if she is kicking yet but its early for her. I literally have to sit with each about an hour at times feeling to see if there is movement. When it is closer to the time you can easily see the movement. I will try tonight with Roxie as I have already tried with the other 2.
In size Roxie is neck and neck with Spice. Jeannie is the smallest but as I said Jeannie is carrying out to the side.
Patience and we will know a week from today and then again we will really know when we are whelping. Sometimes 1 hides. You never know but next week.
I am FAR from ready. Before vets I must go through all my supplies to make sure I have everything I need.
