Sisters

Thank you Holly for coming to visit. I hope you come again so we can have a rip roaring grand time. The human promises to get galleries together as soon as her hand is better.

Holly had a bath thanks to Nathan. My hand is toast so blogs are and will be very short. I need to trim her feet but he did a really good job. He's been doing everyone today.

Also had a old table that Nathan gave me instead of the ottomon. Took a nap with the dogs and one of the dogs jumped down from the back of the couch and I went to grab her so she wouldn't hurt herself. Off I went rolling to catch her and well the table is now toast now too. As Nathan said I never liked it anyway. Its true but now no table. He thinks he can fix it but it will never be safe even if he manages to.

Never a dull moment.

We are going to miss Holly. What a full spirited soul she is.

Holly's in the House

Wind me up and have fun should describe it. She is playing her heart out. Big dogs, strange dogs - who cares. That's how Caelen was too.

Oh my gad between Caelen and now Holly we have real puppy fun in teh house. It's WONDERFUL!!

Balmy Weather

Who says its too cold? I am CANADIAN!

Okay... maybe its still too cold... No naked snow angels allowed despite Grannie Risa doing them every chance she gets.

Crushed

The very most fave spot for Ella and Clarity is one of the fish or shark beds. They ADORE them and so do the adults. I finally placed a link up to her site on the website so she is easy to find. I haven't even told her I did yet.

The only thing is Leti sees it as an opportunity to crush them and they just lay there and let her. It freaks Dennis out but really if they were uncomfie they would voice it. They don't. They just lay there.

We are busy washing everyone so the blogs are sparse but tomorrow I finish Logan, Panda and Truffie and I am done except for those that bring me dogs to bathe. The hand is barely coping but its starting to feel good to almost have them done.

Poor Lynda got back from her holiday and Panda and Logan was over the moon. Clarity laid in her Jon's arms. It was wonderful to see them. But from tropical weather to this... well that had to be a shock. Of course dear young thing Ella thought the company was all about her. Not this time, Ella. Clarity counts too!

Rusty, Sam and 1 Ella

Ronnie asks: We took Rusty to the Vet and he weighs 7lbs.  The Vet said he is thin and we could feed him a cup a day if he wants it.  What do you think??  He is healthy and loving that is for sure.

Us: Yes, you can feed him up to 1/3 a cup each meal but no more. We always say 1/4 to 1/3 depending on the activity and size of the dog.

Just so you know Ella is almost the same weight. :-) Thats okay as they slow growth down earlier.

Ella was getting 1/3 3 times a day and she is very active but was gaining a really round tummy so she is back on 1/4cup 3 times a day. You can tell when they are getting too round but the answer is if he needs more weight the 1/3cup is more than fine. If he gets too round go back down to 1/4 cup.

As you can see Ella keeps up with Leti often.

Chillin' Ella

What's wrong with this one? She eats too much. She thinks she can fly. She thinks she is a big gal. She squashes poor Clarity but Clarity has started saying I don't think so. Better watch out, Ella. Clarity is growing up too.

The Queen in Training

I am not sure where she gets this personality but she thinks she is all that. I have to laugh at her. She also thinks everyones food is hers. She's getting too round. Nathan put Adele (in heat) Ella and Clarity in together to eat and well Ella was taking everyones. I guess that doesn't work.

They eat and then they go out. It is something that seems to work for us.

Hugo Update

Hi Nathan and Darlah,

Happy new year! I hope everybody had a great holiday.

Hugo is doing very well. He enjoyed being a social butterfly at many parties and met many many people. He is also getting much better with separation training. I can go upstairs to take shower for 30 minutes and he will be quiet waiting in his xpen downstairs.

He also enjoys being brushed/cleaned in the evening while relaxing. He is okay with having his nail clipped and teeth brushed, but he won't fight anymore. I'm taking him to vet on Monday for his 3rd shots.
