Mom & Ella

Think this is the best thing for Roxie. She is eating well. She is playing her heart out with Ella and all is right in the world. No in a funk period for her.

Holiday Celebrations

Ella went on a road trip to the relatives to give her some exposure to a cattle dog and a poodle and she did great. Though she did show signs of stress by yawning at times. She went from person to person. Here she is with Nathan, our grand daughter Sarah, our daughter Tracy in back and grandpa Ernie (Nathan's dad) who is back doing chemo after the holidays. Danielle is also coming out of remission. joy not. Guess its time to pray a bit again and save my tip $$ for meds not covered. It is what it is.

Life is ever the same and ever changing.

Holly Update

And to close off today's update, she is getting really good at playing fetch. She chases after the ball and brings it back...and she sometimes, but not always, gives back the ball...!

Updates

Rusty is doing so well.  He snuggles and kisses and gets so much attention from all of us.

We will add more photos over the next few days as Rusty's family sent a few very cute ones. Stay Tuned. PS: Interesting enough this one has Auntie Treasure's face. Yes, Treasure and Abigail is related so it makes sense that we see similarity. We will see how he changes as time goes on. Exciting for me to watch.

Hi Nathan and Darlah,

I'm back to work starting today and Hugo is with me. He already charmed everybody at work. While I work, he is being a good boy taking a nap. Not sure why he prefers the floor rather than his Sherpa bag or bed. Maybe my office is too warm.

Holly has discovered that she can squeeze under the couch and seems to like it under there.

The next two pics were taken just after her first bath at our house. She really needed one after yesterday's romp through our muddy, waterlogged backyard. She was pretty good throughout the whole bath. At first she didn't know what to make of the hairdryer we used on her, but she relaxed halfway through and started to play.

Holly's mom sent more photos that we will add over the next few days that is ever so cute. She also sent a video and here it is. It's adorable!!

Treat Motivated

Nathan has already started training with Ella and boy is she treat motivated.

We have some updates from the siblings but I will put them up tomorrow. Today is a crazy busy day so no time for more.

Trouble

Ella thinks she is a big guy - well big girl. She just thinks she can do it all. It's a riot to watch.

But she has a problem. She thinks she can eat her food, Leti's food and whomever else's she can manage to get. Oh she does try. She also climbs up the stairs, plunks herself on the couch and then proceeds to fall asleep on her back. If someone keeps bugging her she climbs up the cushions and sleeps on the back of the couch. She also loves sleeping in her fish bed. Its one of her fave spot to chill.

I Can, I Can

Ella says I can, I can keep up - really I can.

Then she comes in and takes a solid nap. She is amazing in what she can accomplish.
