I would take a recent photo of him but he's been besides himself. You see he has not eaten for 7 meals. This happens with stress and a gal in heat. Not all boys do this but he does. Tonight he ate 2 meals. I am going to try to fit him in for a bath over this weekend. He's brushed out and all but boys mark outside to protect the perimeter of the gal in their mind. You have to rinse their undersides daily. It is a crazy process.
We now have Stormy in heat.
The last of Sage's pups have now departed. She has a grouch thing going on but she will get past it. First time moms do not understand the drill and they need to adjust just like the pups need to when they go home. They do adjust so do not worry. maybe when things calm down one of her pups can come for a playdate as she will be thrilled. We shall see.
Here are the photos before Phoebe departed.
I did something wrong with the paperwork so not many photos or videos. I do so apologize. Nathan is supposed to go over everything with a 2nd eye but well he's not his usual focused self. So, I missed a lot on this one. sigh I did so want to take more photos and videos. Life...
It's quiet and due to only having 3 remain tonight they are all playing in the kitchen with the older guys.
Juno and Daisy depart tomorrow.
Nathan is looking forward to staying in bed Monday morning and I will be grooming and Dennis will be taking down the xpen tonight or tomorrow. Maybe we just need to sink into a recliner and catch a breath. We shall see.
Videos are up. Till tomorrow
Nathan just loves, loves, loves this pup. She just has a way to make him smile and laugh and he so needs that now. She seems to clue in when he is not doing well.
She was great with the bath, blow dry and she likes having Momma Sage to her own without competing with her siblings. She is the last of Sage's to depart.
It will be a change for this little one and a change for Momma Sage.
We will miss this crew. Sage as a 1st time Mom was amazing even taking care of Cinnamon's boy for a bit. I truly have great moms. special things in store for the moms after the pups depart.
Benjamin has departed. He is a striking boy with some real soul. Two more of Sage with one remaining - Phoebe.
Here is his gallery before departure.
They came. The pups played and now we are down a few.
These pups are so going to be missed. Videos are now up for both pups that went home today.
Thank you for the dog toy and treats. The dogs will have the treats tonight. They so appreciate it!
The small but mighty has dismissed. Here is her family gallery.
They played. They had fun and then they departed.
Here is the gallery before they departed. Videos - I am working on them.
Thank you ever so much for the fruit basket.
I did not set up this pose. She did and she held it. I just laughed and laughed. Never had a dog pose like that.
Normally I only do 1 photo but due to this funny pose, I had to put that one up too.
Keke is going to be a light weight like her mom but her weight gains have been consistent and good. i will miss carrying her around in my pocket or under my shirt to get upclose to her. She will be missed. She is the 1st to go home tomorrow.
Sage will have 2 pups to depart tomorrow and her last will depart on Saturday. Cinnamon will have the last 2 depart on Sunday.
It seems like forever and then so quick. We so hope the journey will be an amazing one for each.
Benjamin was great for his bath but he really wanted me to stop blow drying him so he could go play.
He was great for the bath and even for blow drying but the pups were playing and he knew it and well can you blame him for wanting to play too?
He is the 2nd to depart tomorrow.
He will be missed!
This is Phoebe. She departs on Saturday. Dennis was making a list and checking it twice on all the things on MY to do list come Monday. I said - no can't do as I have dogs to groom. LOL I wonder what is on his to do list.
Ms Phoebe is a lovee!
The pups are raring to go and need to go out any minute. How can we tell? They are not crying. They are jumping on top of each other like they are in a mosh pit.
