Soon This Week

Let's get this over with - well that is how she looks don't you think? We are now all setup and ready but we have not taken temps yet and I may not till Tuesday night or Wednesday. Although it can tell you when you are close, you have to catch the drop. Moms find it intrusive to take temps so much so I am leaning towards doing it when we are close unless she starts nesting and then it is all moot.

Zach's New Family

Here is the gallery of Zach's new family.

We will miss this one fluffy bear. It will be great to see him when he rteturns for his nails/playdate.

Here is the gallery before he departed.

You always feel extra close to the singletons even though he never realized he was one.

Now down to 4, soon to be 3 this afternoon.

I have a lot of dogs to wash but after that, maybe I will lay down and snuggle with the moms.

Zach's Bath Before Departure

Oh my gad what a - whatever you want to do pup. Bath - sure  blow dry - sure. Hang up in air and photos - no problem. Clean pads - no problem. Take a tangle out - I am fine.

Here is the bath gallery.

He then went upstairs and ran his heart out. Now they are all fast asleep till their play session before bed.

How did the time fly?

Meet Zach

This boy has a name. He is a gentle soul who has had to deal with being older before his time and he met those challenges!

Bathroom Play

To say I am a tiny bit tired is an understatement. I need a couch BADLY. Too many baths, watching pups, videos, blogs and 9 loads of wash today. Yikes. But still the pups make you smile.

Here is the gallery.

I will continue to update 1 blog after the pups are gone. I guess it will be cinnamon's and if anyone sends us a photo and update I will put it in the respective blog. But when talking about Tempest, Hallie and the one going home in January called Nava, it will go into Cinnamon's blog. Keeping up this many blogs and galleries plus videos is a lot of work. So, I do not look forward to pups departing but I indeed look forward to less work. I can't imagine if this was a crew that gave us too many challenges. But they have not and are amazing and I am totally going to miss them - but if you knew what I did on a given day, you may think I am nuts. But when you put the effort in you get results. That is the key.

Be sure to check out the videos.

Undecided

The name is still undecided but I will need it by Boxing day. He is cute as a button and a gentle boy who just loves people!

Here is today's gallery.

Tomorrow they will have a sprinkle of leftover steak that we had today as a treat. I bet they will gobble it up.

We are now getting used to 9 and by boxing day we will have to get used to 7.

Tomorrow a Cinnamon and Leti pup will get their bath and photos. This one won't go home till Saturday. by Saturday night we will have 3 pups. One goes home the 10th. She will be boarding with us till then. Then January 10th, Marlie comes back and visits us. He's going to have a grand time and a great home coming.

The point is, we will still have puppy fun through January and of course classes with our 2. So, we hope you follow along and the other pups join us in class.

Be sure to check out the videos.

Outside Play

I was dematting a dog. I am exhausted and it reminds me I can't do this especially during holidays. I missed the outside play today due to it. Nathan had them out. It was wet and from what I was told it was great fun. Sorry I missed it.

Here is the outdoor gallery.

Raven's Date

Raven's boy goes home on the 28th. He has continued to be the sweet boy that Raven is.

Saturday

Mistake

As you know, Raven had 2 Leti pups and one went home today. We took out Leti but not Raven. Raven was looking for the puppy today. What an idiot for not thinking this through. She's more relaxed now but initially she realized he was gone. They are fine when they see them depart and a bonus when they return here as they get closure but remind me when the next pup goes of Leti's that Raven took care of to bring both moms out to watch them depart.

Sometimes the brain doesn't engage. I remind myself, I am only human.

Hide an Seek

The pups love the tunnel. Actually they love all the toys we expose them to. Thank you to Ozzie's family for giving them 2 fun additional toys. They will be playing with them tomorrow.

Be sure to check out the videos. There is more than one.
