Suns Out

Well it's almost night and it FINALLY came out. Nathan is off to a meeting. It's just Dennis and I and the dogs. I did some weeding. The dogs watched with interest but I really didn't do hardly anything in the scheme of things. The thought of nonstop for a year may get this garden in shape. Dennsi keeps saying you didn't do this and you didn't do that and I say who has time?

When we groom they all stand in the hallway waiting their turn. This was today and boy they needed something. :-)

Logan enjoyed playing with the pups.

Raylan for some strange reason wasn't interested today. The pups tried and tried and he just wanted out so that's where he sat watching. I think he was more interested in watching.

I was weeding to the right of Pepper and guess who was under the deck? Scruffy went under to get a toy Dennis threw the wrong way and Pepper just stared intently as if to say you are too big for that now? Scruffy found he could have his toy under the deck, lay there and no one would try to take it. Smart boy. Not even Pepper tried. She just watched and watched waiting till he came out to pounce on him and finally she got the opportunity but I didn't catch it with the camera.

This was a plant that we wintered inside and it needs to be cut back. Monty finds it to be a curious thing. I am not sure he knows what it is and in the state it is in I am not sure I do either. My excuse is I am waiting for the rain to stop and then I will start gardening - yeah right! Okay I am waiting for 36 hour days? We will get there.

Dogs were happy that they got some time outdoors today for walks, for play. We had some rain but nothing like it has been and tomorrow is supposed to be sunny and warm. Looking forward to what we can do tomorrow and tonight!

It's All About the Rain

Well, we started playing at 7am. Some are now chillin' watching TV with Dennis and Nathan while I have the pups and some of the dogs here. My camera batteries are charging. I really need to get more than two as I use 2 at a time.

We had a lot of dancing today...

We had a number of meeting of the minds. No one wanted to hang outside or play as its truly been raining most of the day so its been inside creative play other than the number of times they go out. Dennis started walks but they came back so saturated I said let's expel their energy inside or I will be grooming all night. So, we did!

We did do grooming cause why not. Steven and My's 3 already know the routine. Brush, comb - TREAT!!!!!!!!!!! Yes, I meant the explanation points.

Mac wants the treats forget about the brushing - do you really have to do THAT? Let's make a deal. You can ignore that and well I will give you long cuddles. hmmm it's an interesting proposition. How about I do the snuggles, still brush and you get a treat? Mac is great on the table. I just think he thinks the process is silly. Where Raylan wants to be rolling and messing himself 2 minutes after the fact. No matter what I do with the front of his hair - well he looks like Raylan.  I think Monty is the most tolerant will all this silly cleanup.

It's been a terribly wet day. The sheets will be soaked tonight and muddy if I don't muster the energy to clean feet and legs yet again before bed. Realize we go out at 10pm so that would mean as they come in I would be cleaning before bed. Clean the sheets, wash all the feet and undersides - well even if I opted to clean only the sheets the dogs come morning would still need a cleanup so what would YOU do?

Such a silly thing to be pondering. I think I will try out that mat Steven and My brought us. hmmmmm

Stay tuned tomorrow. I forgot about that. Silly me!

PS: Lori and Roger's duo could care less if I try to groom them morning noon or night. She must be doing a lot of conditioning. But oh boy Scruffy should be both of their names. But that means they are having oh so much fun so truly deep down we don't mind.

I am Tired

Abigail says it all about how I feel.

Boo had a bath and went home. He is a party dog and will be missed. Gracie who never visited before played her heart out and is probably snoozing at home. Darcy came to visit for a few hours and played with her sister Pepper.

I groomed everyone all morning and bathed up legs of a few boys and bathed Boo and dematted a dog. I have done a tremendous amount of baths, brushouts and maintenence grooming since Thursday. I go crazy before events as people want their dogs to look beautiful and I don't blame them.

Throw in that the pups are in that transition stage to get them to be without mom and sleep through the night - oh boy!

I was crabby this morning. When Nathan told me off for getting up and then told me it was my responsibility and my fault the phone was stolen I reminded him that when he dropped his ipad I didn't blame him. Crabby I was but get some caffeine in me and I am better. Still, the phone thing is really still *&^%$ me off!

Despite all that I enjoyed the dogs today.

Chewey and Riley dropped in but I was so tired I forgot to click photos. Thank you for bringing them. Chewey is a Wasabi and Kat pup and Riley is a Coton.

Here are a few more photos I clicked today.

Raylan is overly smitten with Jeannie. It's funny to watch and well Scruffy has his Pepper but it seems he has his Roxie back.

I call this the blonde moment!

Scruffy the cheater was giving kisses to Darcy. Should Pepper and Roxie get jealous?

I had all 4 of the Kat crew in a photo at the door but Monty was doing something we can't post. Use your imagination. They didn't cooperate so I couldn't get another. Tomorrow is a new day.

Interesting enough Monty was way unhappy about our son Tal's hat. Tal is off to New York for a couple of months so we won't get anymore conditioning in but no matter how old the dogs are there is always something that they find different and may react to. At least I think it was his hat. When they tell you to do scavenger lists to expose them to silly stuff its impossible to expose them to everything they will encounter. He is not the only one that has reacted to him. He is also into all this natural smells on him so maybe that may be strange too. It certainly makes the dogs sneeze. <sigh> It's too bad he is gone as I can't explore it.

Jeannie thought today she would tell some of the other dogs what to do.  We stopped that immediately. Miss Bossy pants, I don't think so. That's not YOUR job. Oh she played wonderful too but we had a lot of visitors today and she thought she could try this out for size. Good thing she listened.

Okay, it's been a day but we had a lot of fun too. WE had play. We had snuggles and we had a lot of work. Tomorrow will be an easier day as I am not washing a soul. Can you believe?

Can't wait till snuggling time in bed. Till then its caffeine.

Wait till you see the Goldfish that Darcy passed on to the pups that she doesn't use anymore. It's sooooooooooooo cute! Thank you!

What a Day

Crazy day and hardly any photos that didn't have the pups in it. I did get one of Gracie who is literally having the time of her life:

I did get photos of Woofstock but I have to sift through those. I had my iphone stolen so unfortunately I am dealing with that changing passwords and all that fun that comes with it. It was wonderful to see the dogs that we did. We missed Kobe, it seems. Never saw Molly. We missed others, I am told.  I never got to see Kim as I think my mind was on my iphone. Then Nathan topped it up with well it is YOUR responsibility to make sure no one steals anything from you in a crowd. Is that an insult to injury statement or what? I had my phone in the side slot of my purse as I was trying to connect with Bailey's mom. Luckily she found us anyway. So, photos of Woofstock will have to wait. Photos of the other dogs will have to wait except check out Abigail's blog as I will be uploading Raylan and the pups. Mac thought they were Martians and well Monty was highly curious but not enough to play but only to sniff them all up. Raylan played and played.

Cha Cha who has since gone home was in-between Raylan and Monty with the pups if you know what I mean.

We got to visit with Stella and Val and she was such a gracious host. It was GREAT fun to see the dogs together. I think someone was hugging Roxie and Roxie was loving it! Woofstock was fun despite the issues of crowds and the phone and I will go through the photos.

I hear tell we will see Darcy, Scruffy and Pepper tomorrow. Pepper and Darcy are littermates. I do have a photo of one of their other littermates from Woofstock but as I said I think I am emotionally spent. I worked really hard to get to be able to get everything setup so I could go for a morning and someone said - silly woman... Oh well enough whining!

We did get a ton of treats and we brought home Maxine for a play session and she will be departing first thing in the morning. Not enough time for me.

What a Day

A huge shout out to Coco, Doozie, Carol and Malcolm for all that they do with the dogs. The dogs both took their CGN (citizen good neighbour) test today and passed. This is them at home quite pleased with themselves and they should be! This pair does an amazing job with dancing too! Carol is truly a special lady doing what she does with them.

I have been grooming and grooming and grooming the last couple of days for other people but I also managed to get Shoshi, Spice, Roxie and Jeannie done as well. But to say I am tired is an understatement and you will have to read on Abigail's blog why I am extra tired today. I will be updating that blog shortly.

Cooper and Truffie connected this visit. Truffie (with no gals in heat) has slowly got back to his playful usual self. I hate what heats do to gals and to the boys. But I do love the end result - the pups.

My day started today with a brush out and comb-out of Cooper. He's such a good boy. I love when he visits.

Gracie and Cha Cha arrived at the same time. Gracie is not one of our dogs but she connected with Cha Cha in a big way but she is also playing with everyone else. As you can see due to the rain the paws are getting muddy and I decided to wash them once not many times a day. hahahaha

We are heading to Woofstock tomorrow. Dennis is here with the dawgs with Jonathan. We are going early and coming back early. It's always best that way as you avoid the crowds.

Simba dropped in today and Shelton was smitten by him giving him kisses and Simba was giving kises back. Oh my... be still my heart!

Steven also dropped by and brought us a present for the dogs. Wait till you see it on the Abigail blog. The pups LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it. Thank you. What a cute and fun idea that was.

Well that's all I can muster today. I have a magazine to get out as it seems I am the one that knows how to do all that. Dennis is playing with the dogs sliding on the floor and the dogs are running after him. It's a riot. It's raining but it best not tomorrow. Just know we still manage to have fun no matter what the weather is!

No More Martians?

Guess the pups are no longer martians to Cooper. He truly thought Fiona's was. Abigail did have some words with him about the pups. She simply stared. He looked away and we told her it was okay and then it was. He actually was gentle and quite nice to them - highly curious!

I am washing dogs today. People are going to Woofstock, I suppose. But I did have 2 cancellations tomorrow as they are heading to their cottage vs. Woofstock. They will miss some event. hehehehe

Tomorrow I wash Logan, Panda, Roxie and Jeannie. Today I still have Shoshi and Frannie to do and it is raining and raining. So I have to do Frannie just before arrival so she looks beautiful. Shoshi needs to be done as she is overdue. Yeah I could put her off till Monday as she has no knots but a part of me says just do it.

Look for more about the pups on the Abigail blog later. I also started on class photos for the Spice and Fiona pups. Yeah, I didn't forget. &^*( life gets in the way. Can I have 36 hour days and feel bright eyed and bushy tailed or however that term goes?

Nathan and Dennis have been mega busy playing with the crew and laughing their fools heads off then Nathan took a nap surrounded by dogs. I am jealous!

Levon's Bath

This is Levon before he went home today. I thought it may be fun to see the first time he went home. Check it out here. The pups are going to miss you Levon! Logan will have to do. :-) Maybe we will get Frannie and Panda playing.

We had play sessions with the pups so be sure to check out the Abigail blog for Logan and Levon playing their hearts out.

Frannie was caught snoring on her back outside on the comfort of the pillows while we made some of the loudest noises.

Also check out the Fiona blog for a photo of Bailey and Griffin and a new house Bailey received.

The dogs are now watching tv with Nathan and Dennis. I wonder if they too like Game of Thrones or just tolerate it for their sakes and extra snuggles.

Levon and Frannie

Our day started out in full steam with Frannie and Levon rolling all over each other in full out play.

I think they stopped to eat breakfast and started in again. Frannie wasn't into playing early but Levon kept egging her on and then it began and never seemed to stop.

No swimming occurred today. It's too cold but we have had a great deal of chase me games. We played a rip roaring game of get the toy if you can. I say that as everyone participated and it wasn't obvious who was going to get it. The best part is they all played with everyone having fun and not with the attempt of it MUST BE MINE! They were real team players - nice!

BY the way Logan now runs to me to get groomed and so does Panda. They have an internal clock. It must be Mommy pickup time. ROFL! Just love that duo!

Levon & a Pup Plus a Video

Levon was doing his best to get to the pups trying to sniff them up. He is indeed fascinated by them.

Frannie comes to visit tonight. It was too cold to swim today. We played retrieve and the dogs played the chase with each other. Levon was in front then it was Kat then it was Spice and then Roxie. Risa just laid down saying I am too old for this. I bet you some of you can relate - me too!

Nathan laid on the ground and they played carpet with him. What does that mean? They walked all over him while he tried to stay still. I just laughed.

Check out this video of Risa (12 years old) playing and Levon was right in the mix! Sorry for the poor quality. Nathan took it on his ipad.

Afternoon Visit

This is Piper, Levon's sister. She is a Teaser and Truffie puppy. She's here while Mom and Dad are watching the soccer game in the BMO field. We were lucky that they decided to go as she got to see Levon too!

Instead of rough housing they are investigating everywhere together. It's a riot. Now the crew is watching TV and I want to go for snuggles too. Be sure to look at Cooper's update as well below.

Then don't miss Fiona's blog as the pups came to visit.

Busy Day

Cooper just had a bath and he is heading out soon. His antics will surely be missed! Piper is coming for a visit while they go to a game. Levon gets to see his sister - wow nice! I will be sure to click that. We have a Fiona puppy get together. I am hoping it doesn't rain as the kitchen is not large enough nor will the play be the same. We shall see.

Bailey is going to hang out till the evening so Fiona will be thrilled. Us too!

More as the day unfolds!

Hugo and Milo are now home and we are hearing funny stories.

Very Early Day

We had to get up at 4am so Nathan, Tracy, Jonathan and the gals could go to Ottawa. Dennis stayed sleeping in till 7am. Me, I kept the dogs occupied and relatively quiet so he could sleep in. Then at 7am I woke him up so we could feed the crew. In that time I read a newspaper, drank my coffee to pretend I was awake and watched this lovely play between Cooper and Levon.

I also cleaned the puppy pen, started laundry and started grooming the dogs.

Milo was first as he is going home tonight. His hair is a challenge as he has tight curls and he's not getting a bath so a dirty coat tends to mat. So, I brushed him out and then combed him out and although I have been doing him daily completely he was an hour job this morning of nonstop combing.

I used the table in the kitchen and as I was grooming these two played the entire time and then some.

After Milo was done, I did Hugo and then Jeannie.

Then I started on Levon and I am working my way through all. But I also had a play session with the pups outside of their pen and tried to do a video at the same time doing it all myself. Who knows how the video came out but not even going to look at it till I finish grooming. Then I want to head outside in-between the rain and get some playing done despite all this grooming cause hey I am a glutton for punishment.

Nathan has already arrived. It looks like its about to rain so I best get outside while I can.

But maybe no swimming today as its really too busy but fun is absolutely on the menu.

Oh, and the camera the error was the connection between the lens and camera so I wiped it off and it seems to be working. Let's hope it continues as some say to clean using alcohol and some say not. Think I will wait and call the service center and ask them Monday. :-)

As we have Fiona pups coming tomorrow and Piper coming for a visit while parents go to a game, I best have my camera working.

I may or may not update this later on. Let's see how busy the day remains.

Here are a few more photos I took today.

No one wants to stay outside for any real length of time except for short bursts and they don't want to run like the wind either. It's simply too muggy and I suspect they also got up way too early like me. Tomorrow is a new day. When the sun or clouds go down and Nathan is home, we will try to get them running when it is a tad cooler.

They are playing in the house but there is nothing like running outside. Cooler weather they say is coming.

Hot Day

Levon went into the pool today but every time I tried to click I was getting an err 001 and was very frustrated. I think its a connection issue so I came back inside after all was said and done and got Nathan's camera too late to catch Levon swimming but he was deliciously enjoying the cool and air drying after a brushing. Now to comb him up again seeing he is dry. That's what we do. We brush and comb while wet. If it is very hot you let them air dry. When dry again you brush again. Sounds like a lot of work but its easier than turning the dryers on and drying them and cooler for you and the dog to let then air dry.

Why am I frustrated that I missed my moment with Levon? Well, he jumped off of the pool stairs. Will he do it again? Time will tell. We have a storm coming in and it won't be tonight.

Cooper and Levon are best buds. Levon is such a happy go lucky guy and he always loves to see you, play with you and he just loves the other dogs. He will go from one to the other till he is totally exhausted and he is at the moment.

We have our grandkids over and our daughter as Nathan, our daughter and the kids will be heading to Ottawa tomorrow on Nathan's bday. He has a family affair and I am needing to stay with the dogs. So we get up at 4am so he can drive in and drive home tomorrow night. Oh boy.

Our grandkids were so delightful with the dogs. They even managed to get Hugo who thinks they shoot the moon to jump into the pool like Kat. He's never done it like this and he did it with them over and over again.

When we had the pups out today Logan was enamoured with the pups. Oh my gad is he so good with the little ones. Panda was highly curious but Abigail kept giving both Logan and Panda the evil eye to say don't hurt my pups. They are still young and moms at this stage do not trust that their pups won't get hurt. I respect that. It's all body language. Its not in the Miss Abs to do anything else but its interesting. It is not till they are very mobile running that moms relax.

I wish I had a slew of photos to post but I don't. We had a ton if fun but with company it didn't happen. Life was very busy but fun and we had a lot of help playing with the dogs. I just wish I had captured it all but today instead of sitting behind that camera doing so I simply just participated. Sometimes you have to do that too!

So Sorry

I didn't click any photos beyond the pups this morning. Dennis has taken over my computer doing a favor for a friend of mine. What does that have to do with photos? Well he took out my card reader off line so why take photos if I can't transfer any. Well, I should have anyway and post them extra late but figured you may understand that I have a bath to do later.

Finn is going home first thing in the morning so I need to bathe him tonight.

Levon is here playing like crazy and is relishing jumping back and forth over Cooper. Hugo and Milo have been quiet today - can you believe?

Logan and Panda played early on and crashed. I think the heat is getting to them outside so its fun indoors.

It is exceptionally muggy and hard play can be dangerous in muggy heat so we have air on, crazy retrieve, games and the likes indoors and if this keeps up tomorrow I will get them all in the pool. We shall see.

Now back to logging in via my ipad and allowing Dennis to take over my computer. It's too hard to resize and put photos up from the ipad.

I will be glad when this project of Dennis is done. I want my computer back!

Well, We Tried

I had this goal of getting everyone into the pool. But we have to start with just a few at a time as Roxie tends to squeal like - well you fill in the blank. So, we took out Finn, Kat, Roxie and Fiona. Fiona wanted none of that swimming. Usually she loves swimming. Finn wanted none of the swimming either but we managed to get him in for a quick swim gently. At first he was trying to run away as you will see in the video. We waited till he relaxed then gently gave it a try. He did rather well but I didn't get him on video. I hadn't realized that was when Nathan was going to bring him in and I had the camera in hand vs. the video camera and although my DSLR has movie mode, did I think of it? NO.

Then it started to pour. I was drying the dogs under the dryer and gave up. It has poured twice since then and had the sun out and go figure now the sun is blazing but no swimming tonight for me.

Nathan is now off to get his ponytail cut off. He let his hair get too long and on his birthday June 1st he gets to go to Ottawa while I stay with the crew. He has a family event (not for his birthday) to go to so he had to snip. hehe

Check out today's video and also check out Abigail's pups on her blog a I did a video of their first outing too.

Here are a couple of photos I snapped. The first is of Finn. They gave him a haircut themselves. I will try to do one after his bath before he goes home. It's a great first try. This is what Finn looked like before his haircut. He is an Abigail puppy - full sibling to this crew now.

Now Nathan is yelling let's get more dogs in the pool and I said, yes dear - you groom. hahahaha Me, I am blogging.

More Changes

Simba heads out anytime now. He's had a bath and hopefully his parents are all settled in after their move. As it is raining he's had a quick outside and a wash of his feet so he looks good when his human Dad comes.

Cooper also departed and although he didn't have a bath I lined combed him. He's been playing nonstop and needed it after he has been wearing little Cooper, Roxie and sometimes Jeannie. He also played with Finn this morning and Scruffy before he departed.

Scruffy and the Pepper is here just for the afternoon. Pepper is losing her teeth and her mom has yet to be able to save one. Pepper, are you eating your teeth?

Hugo and Milo are a funny pair. Hugo is a go, go, go bichon and Milo is a sedate Havanese. They are truly a fun pair and we adore their parents.

We have been playing mostly indoor with some outdoors between the rain. The grooming has been well non stop and the floors a streak of dirt washed and washed and washed. Yep where do they go - right into the grass that seems to have mud sitting on top from all that fast running play. It happens.

Nathan helped me a bunch with grooming - thanks!!

The peonies are frowning from all this rain. Some of the dogs hair looks like that too. I may have to go out and clip some so I can enjoy them before the rain destroys them. Why can't peonies bloom all season long? Off to groom more rain out of the crew.

Rain, rain go away!

Plus I just got a photo of Shady and his new hairdo done by Valerie. Finn also arrived with a haircut his human Dad did. I didn't recognize Finn. He looks like a different dog. I will try to get a photo up of Finn when he is not wet and getting soaked. Maybe I will click just before he goes home. :-)

Sweating Day

It's back to being warm but the pool is not warm yet. We have to put the heat back on as we are not into throwing $$ away.

Just a few photos today. We had a long and busy one. This is Huntsville Cooper. :-) He's been playing so hard with Cooper and Roxie and Simba it is unreal. He seems to be so delighted with his playmates. He's always loved Roxie but he's having a rip roaring time with Simba and Cooper. Simba goes tomorrow after a bath. They are moving so this was an impromptu visit to help them focus on moving vs. dogs, kids and everything else.

Dennis had it in his mind that we were going to take the plants out. I have a significant amount of plants I bring in. Some die, some survive. Some look dead but come to life eventually. It's cheaper than buying every year but its a lot of work. They look like ahem right now but they will come back - well I hope.

Well, we had to move the xpen as I have a 4 foot long by 2 foot high planter that sits behind my desk that had to go out. So down came the xpen, pups got shuffled for 2 hours as we washed floors, moved items, took out everything in the xpen and washed and the pups just took it in stride. Good pups.

Luckily Levon left already when we started this project and we just finished. Well, almost finished. I have a bookshelf to organize and throw things out that I don't want. You see I had no access to it all winter as it was blocked off so I imagine not much is useful except exercise tapes and now I have no excuse not to start exercising tomorrow. :-)

Levon got to play hard and enjoy his time vs. laying all over Nathan or going outside with Nathan while Dennis, Jonathan and I did all this crazy work. I was NOT supposed to be in the equation but I get roped in every time and they would have still been doing it if I didn't help.

Still, Nathan ran around with the dogs out back, took walks with them and then took a nap. :-)

Dogs do not like big moves and changes. They just don't but they took all this craziness of plants coming down the stairs, out the door and leaves all over in stride. Not me. I just kept looking at all the work and I had groomed all morning before this.

If anyone knows where to get cheap hanging baskets, please let me know. I need two. Anywhere off the 401 from Toronto to Ottawa will do. Nathan has a family event in Ottawa on his birthday (June 1st) so maybe he can stop and buy me two hanging baskets. hahahaha

Well, I can dream but they are usually cheaper away from Toronto. I need two that can deal with sun to hang off my lamps.

The dogs are still out with Nathan out back as it is a perfectly delightful weather night. I am playing blog catch up.

Hugo has decided that Nathan is his guy and he wants to keep everyone away from him. Hugo is learning that doesn't work here. Everyone gets time for loving, snuggling and the likes and sharing really is a good thing despite what you thought yourself as a kid with your own sibling. Repeat after me - it is a good thing.

Nathan was practicing sits and downs with the crew all at once. I walked by him at one timeframe and laughed. Some listened, some did not and some did the wrong thing. Milo just looked at him as if he was crazy. I don't blame him. He instead chose to lay on the cushions and relax and watch this period of craziness.

Yes, that is a bit of what we do all day long as we stimulate, laugh, play, teach and snuggle and love. Then we fall dead asleep. You should try it sometime.

Now Kat is hanging out at the pool saying it's HOT - can we swim? Kat - maybe tomorrow. Not sure anyone has the energy tonight.

Sunday Musings

I call this the poser group. I couldn't have posed them like this if I tried so they did it naturally. Milo is a Paula (friend) breeding, Brie in the center is my Wasabi's baby - well all grown up. Hugo in the front is a bichon and a character in his own right.

When Hunstsville Cooper's parents came they met Brie and Colby and Brie was a mess. She was getting a bath and it was 915am. So that's my excuse. Here she is after a bath looking well you tell me. She does have a look on that face. Brie and Colby go home soon.

This was Brie, Colby and Cooper. Colby had a bath too and he was determined to make himself a mess so he will indeed have to be brushed again before he gets picked up, Brie too!

The 2 Coops found each other and wow did they have fun.

This was Colby after his bath and after he squished himself every which way. It is nice to see his eyes.

Huntsville Cooper has found Roxie again. I think he thought she didn't exist anymore. He was delighted. When I brought Colby out after his bath, Nathan was sleeping, Roxie and Cooper was snuggling. Ah, normalcy returns.

Simba is also here as his parents are moving and he thinks Mr. Nathan is the best thing since a huge bone. But he is also competing with Roxie. Oh my - what do you do Roxie. They all like you.

Just another Sunday filled with fun and baths.

Busy Day Lazy Night

We played, we ran, we groomed and now we are all tired canine and human alike. Not much of an update but that face of Jeannie is just how we feel.

Tomorrow Brie and Colby depart and (Anne and Rusell's) Cooper comes for a visit. We are excited!

Now will it just warm up so we can swim? I want to shut off the heat in the house.

What a Funny Day

I looked at the blog and said did I miss a day - oh my gad you have never done that and then went oh yeah it is Friday. We got to see Dusty and that was so much fun. It was too cold to swim and they say it will be that way all weekend.

This was Milo squashing Hugo. Don't worry. They were not killing each other but oh boy that Milo wants to be TOP DOG. hahahaha

A fave past time for the dawgs is bug hunting. Yes, you heard that right - ants - yikes.

Not sure how these managed to mesh but they have. I think it was Logan's persistence - good for you!

Dusty was meeting and greeting Cooper. Roxie was keeping a close eye on this.

I brushed Brie (actually brushed all) and this is what Brie did. She shook, she rolled and then looked at me to say this is how I like to look. :-)

Panda decided the bird hunting and watching was in her game plan today. She wouldn't touch. She was just highly fascinated.

Cooper looks so cute with his one ear up. Cooper has been learning dog talk. He adores playing but has yet to figure out that pouncing on someone sleeping won't get you a play session. He's a puppy and just moves on to the next. He is playing his heart out.

Colby is such a relaxed dog these days. I am so happy to see it. I believe Brie has been great for him and coming here has been great for him as he is playing in a big way with everyone now.

It's nice to see Brie playing with others and Colby doing the same. They are always aware of each other but in a way to just make sure each other is having fun too.

Hugo is trying to figure out if he can go into the patio. What is down there and will it be a new adventure?

I have so many other photos but I think I will take a breath and enjoy the dogs. I hope you don't mind.

A good grooming tip - if you are trying to keep hair out of the eyes - those strands that are going everywhere buy clear mascara. It will control that hair. Mine is from Maybelline. It works.
