Play Day

Very busy day today. We had a ton if fun but is Coop having fun? I think he is having so much fun he is getting grungy and can't wait till I finish grooming so he can play. Nathan and the crew are now sleeping watching tv. They ate, they played and now they are all taking a nap.

Sibling Fun

It was truly a fun day. But boy do they need a brushing and I already brushed them this morning. Oh well... You get that way from playing so hard, I suppose.

Not Much of an Update

I had 4 dogs to wash and a turkey to cook. You see we have dogs to watch while other people enjoy their dinner so I figured the only way I am going to get turkey is to cook it today. So inbetween I had dogs hovering around the stove licking their lips.

I had hubby and Dennis saying did you baste the turkey? Yes, I did inbetween this wash or that but thanks for asking. Dennis and Nathan played with the dogs when I was washing but do they take photos? NO! argh though Nathan said he took a video. Well I didn't get to yesterdays video. So, we shall see how today goes but hey its better to groom and play with the dogs don't you know?

As I type, I am eating turkey. Yum. See multi-tasking it still came out.

Plus the dogs were thrilled as Nathan took some turkey, cut it all up and the dogs got their feast too.

You didn't think we would forget about them, did you? Mr. Coop was smaking his lips and so were the rest especially Ms. No Name.

Indoor Day Today

Although we do go outside when it is raining we don't spend the hours playing outdoors when the weather is so nasty. Instead they play and we play with them inside. They still expel energy and have a ton of fun.

As you can see they surely adore Dennis. Here is a gallery of a few photos taken today.

Zoe was here for a bath - goes home in a few minutes. Levon and Trigger was here for part of the day and Cha Cha just went home. Coops, well you see him in the photo above. I may have video but not getting to it till tonight or morning. Shooting for tonight.

They have been having such a grand time I am laughing. I am not well yet but working on it.

The dawgs - well they do my heart well. Need it as grand daughter is not. Every medicine they put her on she has serious side effects. Poor thing. Now she gets to see an infectious disease doctor.

Wet Outside

Chase, Finn and Ziggy have all departed. Nathan seems to be faring okay. I am still sick. I am actually crawling on the couch inbetween doing things but Dennis and Nathan are holding down the fort so to speak. I did manage to give Risa a bath. I did do the above 3. My goal was to do Wasabi as well but not today.

Risa was a nightmare. She decided to crawl under the wet deck. Well, at least she did it BEFORE the bath.

Cha Cha is here departing tomorrow and the Coops is here for a bit.

We are playing indoors more than outside. Tomorrow no rain so we will be back to outdoor crazy fun. Today Dennis has been running the hallways with the adults literally.

Dogs Have Been Running

The dogs have been having really silly play. Ziggy is a complete mess. He needs a bath before going home. I have 3 going home and 3 getting baths and Cha Cha and Cooper coming to visit us.

Vet Costs Can Vary

Check out Marketplace called Barking Mad. In my opinion they didn't go far enough nor did they use a dog with a real issue. If they did it would have been even more interesting.

Wet and Nasty

Had a wet day today and the dogs looked interesting. We had a show where we didn't do a thing as Adele seems to be going into a fear stage and this was a noisy venue.

Nathan has more training to do. Oh well, it happens.

They Are Gone

But Mommy the puppy fun is gone. What happened?

We had a great day but we are off to class so not much of an update - sorry and tomorrow through Sunday we have a show - argh... But we will be updating as we won't be gone all day - just a few hours each but much prep to get ready...

Warm Day Play

We had another warm day of play. Nathan and Logan was doing this jump up, give paw fun play. It was a riot.

Everyone continued to run and have a grand old time. It's not over either. Boy I have to wash dogs next week but not before the show. They can wait till Monday and so can the sanding.

The 3 pups left go out and play with the adults. It's amazing how well they blend in. Going to miss them.

What a Cover Blast!

The pool cover went on. We got the pups out first and then added the adults. It was such a blast that we forgot to feed the dogs and I forgot to brush Logan and Panda so I was quickly brushing as they go out the door. I think that was a first but really it was amazing fun! I have video but that will have to come later tonight. It will come and I hope I captured enough to give you the flavour why I lost my mind temporarily.

After starting out with such a lousy day this made me laugh and smile. Hope the video tells you why but till then, here are a few photos.

Busy Times

With dogs going home, paperwork getting done, bags getting created and the normal stuff we do, the blog is getting later and later in updates. Seeing I am doing multiple updates on Spice's blog, it only makes sense.

My office is getting opened up to the other adults now with only 4 left. They are playing but sleeping a great deal.

Roxie and Panda had this system of cleaning puppy ears. It was a riot. That's what Momma dogs do.

Logan and Panda are now home. Ty also came for a day visit. Ziggy is hanging out and is truly a fun, fun dog. He will love seeing Scruffy tomorrow who is his brother.

It's a crazy week and we are missing the pups but its also fun in many, many ways.

We will resume our normal flavour of blogging soon. No worries!

Taking a Siesta

We are not really taking a break but we are minimizing this blog due to all the Spice blog updates but this too shall pass.

Anyone remember who this cutie was?

We have had a full day. I would like to say I enjoyed the weather but didn't get enough time in it and by the time I do it will be cold.

This week is a busy one and on Friday we have a dog show Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Then can I relax? We shall see. Relaxing is still grooming, playing but not all the EXTRA stuff.

Dogs had fun. 2 Pups from Wasabi's first litter is here for the day. Ziggy, Scruffy's brother is here.

Panda is getting extra lovey with me. Logan always is. Does this mean Panda is getting close to being in heat? Well she is not today. That's all I can say. :-)

Insane Times

Well you know we did a road trip and now I am doing paperwork, getting bags ready and just finished with baths of 2 pups. So, no blog today other to say despite all of this we are managing to have fun. I am eating at my desk. Dennis is doing his part in playing and helping out.

I did get most groomed but not all. I am not super human despite what I would like to think but tomorrow I will get to the rest.

Mia and Ziggy and Finn are visiting us. Mia just overnight. Ziggy is Scruffy's brother so he will get to see his brother when he comes on Tuesday. Such fun!

PS: Finn just ADORES the gals. hehehehe

Bentley's Visit

He came for play and a bath and trim. He's been playing up a storm ever since. They are so tight that Finn will be glad when he goes home so he can get some play time in with Adele.

After his cleanup - just finished so he can now play and play.

PS: Adele survived her first obedience class but not sure we did. It is an hour drive and as it was so hot inside we did it outside and I got eaten alive. It was an adventure!

Going to Class

Last night we had handling class. Tonight we have obedience in Blackstock. Yes, you heard that right - all the way to Blackstock but we love Teddy. We also get to see a lady with her puppy golden.

Today Coops and Gracie departed and last night Daisy departed. Thank you to Daisy's mom for the big tip. Most appreciated!! Thank you for liking what she looked like. We already miss them.

It's crazy how that happens. We soak them in - meaning they get to you with all the licks and kisses and then they depart. Fun times for sure.

Well its a nice day so we are outside. Got much to do before class.

What a Day

We have had a lot of outside pouncing and play as its simply gorgeous out.

Cooper seems confused about the gals. Adele thinks she is boss, Jeannie says do what I say. Roxie says let's run like the wind. Cooper just looks and looks and oh he plays but its as if he is saying has these gals gone loco today?

Then before they came inside, Coop decided to pounce on Jeannie and tell her who was really boss. Oh this was all in fun but its as if spring was in the air not Fall.

As I was clicking, Logan was scratching Pandas back. I couldn't figure out why she has broken ends and now I know. She just sits there and he scratches and scratches her back. Maybe it feels good but its an interesting interaction. What do you think he really is trying to do?

It's still warm out. Daisy gets a bath and goes home tonight. Tomorrow night Adele goes to her first obedience class. Maybe it is spring - oh I wish!

Visiting

Molly came over with her humans to see the pups and drop off hair ties that Molly no longer uses. Thank you VERY much. I can always use them!

I was washing Jeannie so I didn't get to see her play with the pups but I am told she did. Did Nathan get photos? NO! So I missed it all. argh

What a pretty face Ms. Molly has.

Everyone has been enjoying the day, lounging and running and now we are off to watch The Voice. Imagine that!

Just Another Play Day

Zoe just got washed and she is waiting to go home.

She's getting a bit of cuddle time before she heads home.

Daisy can't seem to get enough of the pups. She's been playing and playing with them.

She doesn't mind if there is say 6 but when all 10 come after her, oh boy now where can I go? I think its a natural reaction. Think of 10 humans descending on you from all directions. You may want to hide yourself. heh

The Coops has this grooming business down. He stands in line waiting his turn. What, hey lady you forgot MY treat.

You can't but see a tail of Coopers but had to show you this photo as this trio continues to play and Jeannie's face is priceless.

Zoe is over for the day for a bath so she got to play a bit, eat and bath and home. I think she will sleep tonight.

As you can see Zoe has become rather brown these days. It's the same brown you will see in some of these Spice pups as they mature.

Coops is so tolerant of the Adele. Shhh I think he is smitten.

Grace is still mucking it up and Dennis went to try to catch her. Well you don't play catch me if you can with her. She will win!

All I can say is the weather is better. They killed a duck that we got as a gift from someone - stuffing all ripped out. I tell you. I rather liked that toy and no golden to destroy it. hmmmm now who did the deed - we aren't telling but this one needs super heavy duty toys. Or maybe an Adele. hahahaha

Brrr: Video Added

Love to fill you with all sorts of photos but it won't happen. Sure we are having fun but we are busy taking in plants, cutting them back and all sorts of things - Dennis and I. Who knew it would get this cold so fast? I have tropicals that must come in as I can't buy anew each year - the price we pay. The dogs LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it as they think this cut back plants, yank in house stuff is so fun as they steal clippings I cut and do the chase with each other.

Above is an old photo of Nathan running with the dogs. He's been doing this for eons. The dogs never tire of it and it is true today as well.

Yeah he's not cutting back plants or carrying in pots - he's running with the dogs.

When it snows Dennis and I will be shovelling and he will be running with the dogs. hahahahaha Oh lottery ticket come in. I need a snowblower.

Indoor Fun

We had indoor fun and baths today - 6 of them today - wow. Mr. Coops comes tomorrow. Logan and Panda had a bath and will be departing, Scruffy and Pepper are now home.

Here are a couple of photos. Seeing its late indulge me as I didn't take many.

Kona departs tomorrow. I didn't get a photo of Daisy licking Nathan's face but it was funny as she tends to want to give you kisses for everything. She reminds me of our late Terra. She's reclining in the recliner with him as I type.

Off to get pups out before bed and try to relax for a moment. It's been a busy and wet day.
