To Play With Pups

Nava enjoyed her time with the pups. It was fun and she had fun.

I had a very busy day grooming today so we only have a few photos.

We had the heater guy here and sigh we need a new pool heater. I could scream. Oh well...

I combed out dogs and they made themselves a complete mess as if to say - so there - comb me out and let me rub all over so I can look natural. LOL

Weather was not so bad. Dogs think so too. LOL

Just too much going on so not many photos taken. It also looks like rain is coming. We need to set up Sprit's xpen. I need to work on a plan on how to make your zoom puppy experience better.

Dogs really enjoyed the cool. Me, I had 2 jackets on. What a woose I am.

Dennis is back running around outside to get them running with him. It's a sight for sore eyes. Wish he let me film it. The dogs love it and I love watching.

Happy 1st

Hi Darlah & Nathan,

Ollie had a wonderful day celebrating his first birthday! He got a nice long walk, new toys and a delicious cupcake that he devoured! Ollie is an absolute delight: does anything for treats, loves walks, playing keep away, snuggling, and patrolling the yard for trespassing bunnies. Wishing Ellie, Logan, Teddy, Louis, & Kitty a happy birthday too - hope we can have a reunion together soon.

Yes we must do a reunion. Here's to the end of covid. I looked at this photo and went - there's a mischevious soul in there. You can tell by his expression and I just laughed at that expression! What a wonderful bunch of dogs - all of them!

Hi Darlah and Nathan

Our wonderful boy Teddy is 1.  He is such a special boy and he and his brother Charlie have an amazing bond. Thank you for these 2 sweet, sweet boys!  Happy birthday to all Teddy’s siblings Logan, Kitty, Ellie, Louis and Ollie.

Kitty would like to wish her litter mates a very Happy Birthday. We'd like to say a special thank you to Leti and Stone,  Darlah and Nathan and all the Talemaker gang for bringing this wonderful little girl into our lives. She is an absolute sweetheart.  Smart, quiet and very funny.....personality plus!  We couldn't be happier.

Celebrating my 5th birthday today. Cake, presents and then a nap! My favourite things!

Hi, Darlah and Nathan!  I hope you are doing well.  

Wonderful to see that Sage had her puppies so quickly, during the day and with no issues.  I hope all goes as well with Spirit in the next few days.  You certainly have your house full with Raven and Misty’s puppies as well. 

Just wanted to drop a quick message given it’s Farley’s 5th birthday!  How did that happen so quickly?  

Clarity wants to wish Farley and all his siblings a Very Happy 5th Birthday!

Our pool got open and they say we need a heater. Where's my money tree so there it sits and nathan is going to call a heater guy in hopes he can repair. We shall se. Always something. I so need the pool for an escape and so do the dogs.

I am juggling and hoping it calms down by Spirit's pups.

I questioned my sanity about grooming today but here I am done. Tomorrow is a zoom meeting with puppy owners to be. Okay, let's wing this. I did 8 loads of laundry and screamed if you bring me anymore, you are doing it YOURSELF! I hate laundry. LOL

Dorothy made the most outstanding cookies. I managed to steal two. Dennis had them disappear down his throat. Well, they were for him and oh my gad they were to die for. Thank you!

I have this upper neck back ache that won't quit. I think its stress.

Dogs had a blast today. I kept looking at the pups - all of them half the night. The idiot I am - well I am tired.

Nathan is now sitting in his gravity chair swearing that it is what helps his back. The dogs jump up on top of him off and on. It's hysterical but not sure he would describe it that way!

Happy 1st

Hello Nathan and Darlah!

We hope you and all the pups are well and enjoying the beautiful  day!

We want to wish all of Skye’s litter mates a happy 1st birthday! 

Skye continues to bring us so much joy every day.  He absolutely loves having the kids home every day while schools are closed. Who doesn’t love extra play time!

Here is a little note from our kids:

Hi Talemaker family. Today we are making a cupcake for Skye that has apples and peanut butter in it. Thank you for letting us have Skye. He is a wonderful, loving dog. Skye is a good boy who mostly listens, especially when there is a treat involved. He loves to talk, and will inform us when there is someone at the door. We love Skye so much! I hope you and the dogs have a great week!

Snow Really?

I will attempt to get a gallery together but wanted to share these 2 photos I received today. It's Luna gal! May or may not. Now that the snow is melting, the dogs are soaking the kitchen floor and they are none too pleased about their hair getting saturated. First experience was glorious. Meltdown - not so much though I did catch Spirit rolling in the snow after a bath.

The sun is out and maybe by evening we will not know that it snowed. We shall see.

Cold Brrrr

This was Rosey waiting to pounce on Rebel and the gang. She should sleep tonight she played so hard!

It's cold but the dogs are not feeling it. Nathan had a toque on and his winter jacket. Pups lasted 10 minutes then inside it was. They don't have enough body weight yet.

Come and Go

Today Daisy departed. She is already missed! She is so cute.

I can't put up a gallery as it is having issues with uploads. How frustrating but when it is up, it will show up here.

Ellie was also here having a great time from the moment she walked in the door. What a fun ball of hair! I think she lives for the play. I get her inside and she jumps out of her bag not looking back.

Rosey is coming tomorrow. I am playing one day at a time when it comesto grooming due to Sage.

We shall see how it goes.

Short Again

We need to set up pens tonight for Sage and Spirit so blogs will be short. This is Archie nose to nose with a Misty puppy. You will see more on the Raven and Misty gallery.

dennis had teh adult dogs in and out - those that wanted to interact. Otherwise the dogs were following a cat on the fence and playing their hearts out. It was a good day for play!

Short of Time But

I brushed out Brewer this morning and he played hard today. Didn't get many photos as I am doing extra work today but caught a couple of Brewer after play in his most fave chair. He always insists that this chair is his. LOL He always gets it too without might or right but just edges up and spreads himself out. Have to laugh.

Dogs had fun inside and out. I am soon taking the pups up for a 3rd time.

Tonight will be a busy one as its me with pups upstairs, sterilizing pen, washing water dishes, changing pads, sweeping etc. usually it is Dennis and I. Nathan will take the dogs outside.

Short Blog Today

I have a ton of grooming and yes I combed Tenshi out today but does she look like it? She looks mighty cute though. This always happens just before pups and no teh whelping box etc is NOT ready and it is Dennis B-day that I vowed I would take off but can't so Nathan best muster carrying his weight. LOL

Motley Crew

As we had the vet today (See Sage blog), I have yet to comb out the crew but I will right after blogs. You didn't think I was going to put my feet up and watch tv, did you? LOL Now Nathan will... Dennis will take the pups out again with no photos or videos. That is why I did them this morning.

Tenshi, Daisy and Ripley arrived today. They are surely fascinated by the birds. I swear the birds just now (was just out with them) are screaming - where is the warmth? 

Oh well busy day tomorrow grooming so I won't feel bad missing a warm day.

Oh the Fun of the Cool

If the sun comes out you are warm, If it goes, it is cool. I do believe the dogs love this inbetween no rain day.

Bailey was having the time of her life and then she comes in and sits next to Dennis in the chair. She so likes her spot. Brewer and Harlow was in and out of the bushes after a rabbit. I could not get them to focus on me. The delight of the chase was too great.

I think its spring. LOL

Creative Curiosity

When the squirrels play and make those sounds, Tempie jumps up on the table to get a closer look and then the squirrels make louder noises and run away. Then Tempie lays down on the table resigned to the fun has departed. She does this quite a bit. She is very curious.

It rained most of the day and the sun is out now. I hope the rain stays away but they say all week. They still manage to find fun. 

Wet Times

The dogs - well some went ewwww really wet feet - really? Ellie was not pleased as she kept lifting her paws like she is in this photo and Murphy was also avoiding the rain. I do not blame them. Some like it. Others do not. Those that like it create more work for the humans but much laughter watching their antics. 

But due to rain everything is starting to look greener. That's a bonus!

No Photo Day

Due to the rain that has since stopped there are no photos. This cutie, Kally is now on her way home.

Despite the rain, the dogs had fun. Me, I cleaned feet etc way too much but they had fun. I hear it is supposed to rain all week. Go figure.

Tomorrow Murphy gal departs. Yesterday Murphy boy departed.

I also updated the puppy galleries and uploaded those videos.

Not much to report but the dogs are enjoying themselves even though Murphy gal says - rain - I don't think so.

Late on the Switch

This is getting pretty norm. I asked Nathan for 1 hour to not be responsible to do anything including having it just wait for me. Too bad its only going to be in the 60s tomorrow. Oh well...

Murphy gal, Bria and Kally are departing tomorrow so baths and cuts for 2 of them. Murphy boy departed tonight so just finished his groom about an hour ago. Harlow is here singing for her supper and very comfortable with all.

The dogs really enjoyed this weather. They had a ton of fun but I need to get blogs done before I need to do pen cleanup, water dishes and all that I do before crawling in bed. I have the windows open upstairs and the fans going. I hope it cools it down. The dogs were restless last night due to the heat.

Pool gets open on the 23rd but when we closed our heater was not working so we shall see what that brings. LOL

Guess Who

Rebel had her bath. Tomorrow the moms to be will have theirs. Tomorrow is supposed to be an absolutely warm day so I have to figure out how to be outside for some of it. Not sure I can but so want to.

Murphy arrived today and Sherry brought me a Dairy Queen sundae YUM! What a treat!

Dogs absolutely loved the outdoors and some remained indoors depending on what they wanted to do.

We played a treat game, a chase game and they laid all over Nathan while he tried to lay outside.

All was right in the world. heh

Leo departed - missed! Bria, Ripley and Harlow arrived. Ripley comes once a week for a play day. Reggie got his bath yet again. He so needed it.

Dogs ran with Nathan and then with Dennis. They had a ton of fun. All th dogs ran except Sage and Spirit. They say rain tonight so glad we got the pups out. The adults sure enjoyed it!
