Vet Visit

We tucker the crew out by playing with them before they travel.

Here is the gallery before the vets.

Here are the photos of the gang at the vets.

Girl we are keeping 4lb 3.5 oz

Adele boy with mask 4lb 14 oz

Girl sable and white 3lb 15 oz

Sable and white boy 3 lb 12 oz

All are healthy and have round tummies. The vet said these are the calmest hearts I ever did hear. When pups go to the vets they usually get nervous so their hearts race some. Not them. Okay - where are we - what are we doing.

We only had a couple go ouch with the microchip and that was minor.

Pups were quiet all the way to the vets and all the way back. No car sickness despite it being extra windy so our van was getting knocked around. We didn't have any accidents in the crates. What great pups!!

Here is the gallery at the vets.

8 Weeks 1 Day Old

Tomorrow we are off to the vets. Nathan will cut nails in the morning so the vet doesn't need to spend time on them. I will get crates ready. So much to do tomorrow. Oh boy... so bear with me.

Pups have really changed since you last saw them. You will see what I mean on Saturday.

Due to rain we didn't get outdoors again today. It was pouring half the day and water puddles were profuse. Tonight I imagine it will be sheets of ice.

We made it almost through the holiday season without heats. We still have holiday visitors.

I am not sure what I will do (hahaha) when I only have 1 blog to update. That's okay. We will have heats soon enough.

Be sure to check out the videos.

8 Weeks Old

Wow 8 weeks old already. It was so icy out back that we had to stay indoors today. We still managed to have great fun. When people come to the door we bring one or 2 or 3 pups out for socializing. This helps them get used to a lot of people. It's fun for the humans to see the dogs.

Be sure to check out the videos.

7 Weeks 6 Days Old

It wasn't this cold yesterday. What happened? We were lifting our paws. Yes, we played a but but that cold paw syndrome came early.

See today's gallery.

We had fun upstairs and outdoors and today they had Leo, Skylar, Thyme, Pixie and Ella joining in.

A few more days and we have a vet visit and a visit on Saturday. Wow - busy week coming!

Be sure to check out the videos.

7 Weeks 5 Days Old

We had our very first time outdoors. The moms were VERY excited. They lasted quite a bit longer than I thought and as soon as we saw pads getting lifted, we decided it is time to come in. To say it was a success is an understatement.

See how they did in this video. The rest of the videos will get uploaded today. I am working on it.

7 Weeks 4 Days Old

These days you can't see any difference between us and the Jeannie pups. 3 days is not a lot but was when we were younger. It's interesting how it all evolves.

We need to get outside. We need to get the weather to cooperate.

We are pretty good at using our pads.

Here is today's gallery.

We got to meet Skylar, a Rowan puppy. She thinks we are gremlins and rightly so.

Be sure to check out the videos.

7 Weeks 3 Days Old

hmm I am popular I think I was on yesterday's blog.

I really like my toys. I have some real faves. Oh we all like them but I think they are extra special. Come Monday we will be 8 weeks old. How did that happen?

Be sure to check out the videos. There is a lot of them today.

7 Weeks 2 Days Old

We really like toys - big ones, little ones but for different reasons. We use the big ones with skinny legs as a drag and pull toy. We use a mouth sized toy as a fun throw and carry toy. Each has their uses. Both can be used singularly but the larger ones can be used with a sibling or a human. We even use them as pillows.

Here is today's gallery.

The pups are running and I mean running upstairs as I listen to pitter patter up and down the hall. I suspect Dennis is exercising them. They are having fun. I usually only take photos one session as that allows them to just full out play without me trying to capture them.

Be sure to check out the videos.

7 Weeks 1 Day Old

Look at those teeth? Oh my a mouth of white things. Aren't they really adorable at this age? Here is today's gallery.

Now you are starting to see who will be on the smaller size. There is always one at least. How can you tell? It's done by bone structure but sometimes they surprise you.

Be sure to check out the videos.

7 Weeks Old

We are now 7 weeks old. Wow. Check out a gallery of us playing with Tenshi and Thyme. Amy went home. See the gallery in Jeannie's blog to see Amy included. They are really loving their time with the younger pups.

It's funny how they just all of a sudden started playing with them. At first they just hung out together without engaging. Now they are truly playing.

Be sure to check out the videos.
