Close But No Cigar

Is that how the saying goes? It was suggested that we do another progesterone on Friday (what's $$ heh) and most likely Nathan will head up on Friday afternoon after results are in. The only way he wouldn't go on Friday but delay it a day is if she has not started ovulation. He will breed Friday, Saturday and Sunday then return home. If the optimal day turns out to be Saturday, he will drive up Saturday and he will stay till Monday. Isn't this fun?

He will also be bringing back Envy for Roxie. See Roxie's blog. 

We now have Jeannie, Adele, Roxie and Spice in heat but not Leti. hehe Slowly going insane.

Results

Adele is sitting at 4.9. This usually means you start breeding in 2 days. We are not sure if we will do another tomorrow or Nathan will just depart on Wednesday. Stay tuned. Looking like we will miss Thursday's class.

Tomorrow

Off to the vets in the morning for my progesterone test. We will let you know when we know. If it is time it means we will be off to a fling with Newton.

FYI

For instance if Adele connects next week on Wednesday, gestation is 63 days. Birth would happen approx. September 30 (Yah for me as summer and pool will probably be closed). Pups would not go home till around December 9th. We will know more when we know more. hahahaha

Who is Adele's best friend? Inula. Oh she loves the others but they have a special bond.

Adele in Heat

We are doing progesterone on Monday. We will hear Tuesday morning if she is close or he has to head to Sudbury. Jeannie is in heat but not being bred. May be interesting as Adele may be prime when Nathan was supposed to be at a show and then there is Danielle but no show if she is prime then. 

Leti is not in heat but we have been mulling over using Montuno instead of Truffie. Have not figured it out yet. 

As soon as we know when and what day she was bred we can figure our estimated date of delivery. Gestation is 63 days from ovulation.
