Quiet Time

Adele and Roxie love to lay outside while I sit outside. There is something enjoyable just sitting outside chilling. 

Today Adele must be feeling much better as she played with the ball. I hate when they get morning sickness. When it passes life is good and they get extra special added food to their usual. Daddy bought a slab of prime rib for them. heh. Nothing but the best for them. 

What Are You Looking At?

They say I am almost halfway through this pregnancy thing whatever that is. The tummy is starting to calm down but I want steak. 

I Can't See

Okay that human puts a hair tie in me and out it goes just because. I am starting to eat better or at least I did today. Swimming - nah. Chillin, YES!

I have the start of a good size belly. Imagine that!

Dates

Has anyone been following the calendar I placed up? How accurate do you think it is for each mom to be? I watch myself to see.

Adele is still having morning sickness but is getting better about eating in the morning.

Xray Date

September 29th at 2pm

From my vet - they will be due from October 2 – 7 most likely. I feel better about Woofstock. :-) 

Deep In It

Poor thing. She can't eat in the morning but by dinner time she tries. She is indeed in a bout of a serious morning sickness. This shall pass. 

She is extra cuddly too - a sure sign!

If anyone sees a raised dual dish system for the dogs, please let me know. I am trying to find one that the moms can have access to their food without the pups getting into it. If you see one, please let me know. Looks like I will need 2. :-) Last time I used a box but it didn't work so well.

Morning Sickness

If morning sickness is any indicator Adele took first connection not last. What does that mean in the scheme of things? It means earlier than later. I am still hopeful that its October 1st or 2nd but that's just me as I have so much to get done.

#1 on my list is to sand our kitchen doors and my office doors and stain them. I will have to tape heavy cardboard on them when girls are in heat so they don't get scratched up again. I am so embarrassed and I seem to be the only one who cares or is motivated to do them. It will be a lot of work due to the way the daughter did them previously as a mother's day present. She sort of smeared the stain on the windows so I now have to scrape and clean those too. So. it will be a huge job but I will be happy when its over. I will start them the first week of September. Anyone have a decent sander I can borrow as mine is &^%$. I did the picnic table with ours last year and it took me 4 days to sand and I was going non stop.

Adele is obviously not in the mood to eat every morning and Roxie the same. Have to make xray appointments but still hoping we can do both girls around the same time.

I am going to try to get an appointment for September 29th for both of them. 

What's Going On?

Lately I am feeling sick in the morning. That human calls it morning sickness. I like to head outside first thing in the morning, skip breakfast and lay under the table. The human feeds me later in the day so I am not missing out. My breakfast just became my lunch. 

I am told this too shall pass.

Geez....

After a bath and took a full day before the boys would leave me alone. I am not looking forward to this morning sickness thing Roxie told me about. At least we will be in it together, whatever that is.

It's Over

Last night Adele went to bed with me. She may have been able to go the night before but we are extra careful. It was great to have her in bed. Nothing like an Adele snuggle up against me.

Adele's best play pal is Inula though she isn't playing so much lately. That happens at this stage. Now we follow the calendar and see where she is in the scheme of things.

We used to do ultrasounds but you can't get an accurate count. You only get a confirmation of pregnancy. Next will be an xray the last week of pregnancy. We will try to time it to do both gals at once.
