Thrilled

Nami is absolutely thrilled to have Petey here and the 2 siblings. Poor Sage tries hard to play with them then walks away. It will be a process but next Wednesday, Sage has a puppy visiting so she will be mega excited.

Petey was here overnight. All 3 pups settled in to sleep last night. They woke up. We decided to feed them in the xpen that was still set up - the one that was theirs and Petey was having none of it. The rest of the time the 3 played out in the hall with toys and was happy and then human Momma came and all was right in Petey's world. That is how it is supposed to be. Happy to come - happy to go home. Life is good.

Tonight, for the 1st time the pups will come into bed with us. Life will never be the same.

3 Departures

Here is the family gallery. As you can see, Mocha will have new family members Abby and Meadow. It is going to be fun watching Mocha try to keep up in the snow.

Petey's New Family plus Ollie at Home

Looks like Petey is finally taking his nap as the others are that are here. This was the 2nd to depart. Ollie is getting acquainted with Petey. Thank you again for Cynthias. They now know our name. LOL

Last Play as 10

Tonight is their last play as 10. Due to weather, no one departed today and everyone that is going is departing tomorrow.

I will miss the pups!

We finish feeding at 830am daily. Now we have a dog departing at that time so, no Cinnamon weights? Dogs have to go away before they come. You see we have dogs in heat and visitors and none can be out during the departures and the girls in heat can't be with the visitors. It is going to be chaos but we will deal. 

I may have to wake up at 6am to feed dogs earlier. Then there is setup. I just want to survive and be happy for everyone and pray that the earliest one makes it home safely. 

I just checked the bags 3 times over and I know Nathan will say in front of one of you - where is X? 

I had classes I paid for that I couldn't do. I hope there is a replay. 

Oh yes, I gather after Nathan is in bed, Dennis and I will be washing floors and cleaning the house. What time do we have for that if not tonight at 10pm. 

I am sitting here thinking - if you are being difficult with me maybe we are not the right fit? I don't know. Maybe best to go elsewhere where they don't have videos and galleries daily nor 2 visits. etc I am just thinking out loud and well when you are this stressed, you have to vent as it has to go SOMEWHERE.

After this venting session, I am willing to jump tall buildings in one bound to make the pups have a great experience. We shall see if I achieve that tomorrow. Miracles can happen they say!

Vet Visit and Play

Here is the vet visit of Nami's pups plus the play of the 10 crew.

They survived the play, the vet visit and now I am feverishly trying to get everything done.

Pups are getting ready to head upstairs to play. 

Due to so many reasons including weather, no one is departing tomorrow. Sunday will be busy but that's okay.

Poor Mocha's mom and dad are dealing with what impending 45cm of snow where they live and they have to drive 6 hours to get home. By waiting till Sunday, they hope to minimize dealing with THAT!

Will we get snow tonight here? You tell me.

So Lasts

I had to do baths today as we have the vets tomorrow. I have Meadow and Abby and several dogs to do if pickup is Saturday for Mocha. We are exceedingly busy and adjusting where we can.

This is the only boy. He will be forever more known as Petey. He will be going to live with Ollie.

This is Malla. She has a very interesting personality. She can entertain herself and still enjoy snuggles and play with you. Her hair is so soft!

This is Hazel. She is the larger of the 2 between her and Mocha. I think today the pups were posessed. I will tell you later why I say so.

This is Mocha. I say she is the littlest but we will see when we do weights at the vet visit as I think malla and Mocha is about the same.

Pups will get their last deworming today.

Why do I say I think they were possessed? Well each and every one of them with the exception of Rain who didn't have a bath, enjoyed and didn't mind the stringing up for pictures nor the blow dryer blowing - the pads getting cleaned etc. It was as if the 1st 2 baths I was imagining as they certainly didn't like the experience but this one they did. Maybe 3 times is the charm?

I also took a very mini video of them getting blow dried. It was hard as it was just me. I have never done this before but they were so great, I wanted to try.

Oh a Day

The gallery will be found on Sage's blog today.

Pups had an early play session upstairs and have had 3 play sessions. At 8pm they will have their 4th. They had a ton of fun. They have no clue about departing or that the vet didn't come. Honestly, I do not control those things but if the vet cancels again, Nathan said he will drive to her as that will not work. 

We have rescheduled everyone and I have been working on bags. It has been a pure fiasco day. I buy the supplies from a sublimation seller. She sent me bags that wouldn't sublimate and each bag is 10 dollars so if I can't sublimate, I want my money back and she said well just send them back and I will try. I told her I was out of time. So, on top of things not working properly, she had me doing not one, not 2 but 3 videos so I can prove to her that its the product she sent me. By the 3rd video I was a major grouch. She also sent me rabbits with glass eyes. They are supposed to have sewn in eyes. Luckily I had some psychedlic elephants with sewn in eyes and will send the glass ones back and order the right ones for the Sage crew. 

I so hope I have everything in the bags. I do know I include some sample food plus a full bag of food so no food needed but she only gave me 2 samples so a large bag and 2 samples is what we have. 

If I hear again - what if the vet doesn't come as there is another storm - well read my solution of Nathan driving above. I can't control the vet nor the weather. We have never had this occur before. 

It is what it is. All you can do is laugh and well make sugar from the lemons you are thrown or you will lose your mind.

Vet Cancelled Till Friday

Here is today's gallery.

We are rearranging pickups. Stay tuned. Our vet said roads are way too bad in Northhumberland for Nathan to go there or her to come here. 

I will be juggling and maybe by Friday my body won't be so bruised but I have a lot to do. LOL

Pups had a spectacular amount of fun on their play session before the vet and well now no vet.

Mother nature is having fun. It keeps us on our toes.

Running Leaps

They now run up the ramp and make a flying leap. They are testing their capabilities. They had a great deal of fun. As I type, they are sleeping and will soon be playing upstairs once again.

They are eating well and enjoying. 

Tomorrow is the vet visit then the next day is a puppy departure. It will be easier after that for one of the owners to see theirs that remains. There are 2 pups other than size that look very much alike.

Nails and Baths

All pups had baths - 2nd for Nami's and 1st for Sage then they had their nails done. Nami pups will once again have a bath before they depart. For instance, we have a puppy departing on the 10th and that puppy will have a bath once again a few days from now and will have wet and dry photos. If a puppy departs on Wednesday they will have baths Tuesday. That's how it works.

Vet visit is on Tuesday where they will get their 1st checkup, vaccines and microchip.

Toy Fetish

Some pups are fascinated by things that are not toys - like the dowel end. LOL

Pups were miffed that I didn't have any treats in the bottle but Nathan does this stuff such as grinding treats and meal mixers into powder to add interest to their food. I need whole pieces for these bottles.

Nathan had ordered the shampoo, grooming spray, food, sherpa bag tags, treats, blankets, toys, tote bags, poo bags and dog dishes for the loot bags. I usually put your puppies face and name on the tote bag, sherpa tags and blanket but we will see if Cinnamon cooperates. I will try my best.

First pup is going home on 10th. Next on 12th, Next on 13th - then one outstanding and one remains?

This is getting scary. I don't even have pertinent info. LOL

Entertainment

This one above is often seen entertaining herself. It's a riot. Yes, she plays with everyone else but she has the capability to keep her own self busy. I call that a bonus.

Pups had a roaring great time. They run. They play and they tucker themselves out. 

If Dennis enters this room, the pups scream as they know he is the guy who transports them upstairs. He is loved. LOL

Getting Adjusted

Oh boy, my camera was stuck in delay mode and couldn't figure out how to get out of it. It is not something I use. Maybe Dennis was playing but each photo I took was a 2 minute delay so I couldn't get a lot of photos but I finally said to myself - geez Darlah google it. You know when you can't figure out something as you are extra busy - well that was today but even after googling it, it still wasn't obvious as it was stuck in a mode where you had to hold the item and then the rest of the menu would scroll out. I was feeling like such an idiot. I even was about to factory reset the camera and then I figured it out. My laugh at myself today. 

Pups finally get the hit the bottle toy so treats come out game. Bravo!! It did not take them long - about as long as the adults. They are smart and this game is hard. I was determined not to cheat for them.

Now that they know the game, I may have to put it away as now they are too proficient in getting the treats out. They need to eat food, not just treats. They are like kids - who needs food - just give me the treats.

We do send you home with treats but they are supposed to be a bonus not a ply them with treats or they will get loose stools.

They had a blast upstairs.
