We had a very busy day playing. But tv time is calling and Mia needs to be washed for tomorrow early morn pickup so.....

Had a busy night so no update today. Got Moxie cleaned up. I did get a quick swim in. Had pups outdoors. Working on galleries. Penny, Goldie, Ziggy and Moxie departs today. The Grace arrived and is having a grand time.
Everyone is well, just busy and every now and then less is better. :-)

Mabel is just like Spice. You brush her up and she persists in rubbing her face this way and that. It's a riot to watch.
In the photos you will see a small xpen that we had for the pups today and the pile of gazebo pieces xpened apart so the dogs do not get into it.
I also finally uploaded the Cinnamon and Pals video unedited. I must admit the delay was due to not being able to find the bloody video camera and then I remembered I had it in my bag for class. Of course.
No swimming today. We played retreive. We played hide the treats. We played competition. What is competition? I test them on sit, down, stay, beside me, stand and at the end everyone gets a treat but those that do it quickly get bonus treats. Not everyone was happy about that but we also teach patience. :-)
Well, till tomorrow. We have plans to chill outside and then watch tv.

I just love Clarity. She is such a beauty. She looks a lot like her Momma Panda.
Christine was over and we only took a few dogs out to go for a swim. I was not in the mindset to have barking, silly, crazy fun today. I think I am playing recovery but we managed to get the puppies in plus Roxie and Ella and of course Farley and Clarity.
Mom takes her to the side of the pool and Clarity jumps high and into the pool. It's a riot. She also has Farley attempting the same.

Everyone had fun today but I just didn't have it in me to dry so many and I needed a subdued day. I didn't swim. I thought it was cold and for that moment it was as the sun was in but now it is sunny and Dennis is in the pool.
Time to watch tv?? Can we do that so early?

Panda says - how drab is that. Don't they know it is supposed to rain only at night? Here are a few head shots.
It has been to busy to do do a large gallery or even to brush my own dogs but I did brush out all visitors. Mine can wait till tomorrow. I am out of steam. I am so looking forward to Nathan coming home. TV time and getting draped in dogs. I may coax some dogs out in the rain with me. It is warm rain. I guess no pool day. I truly tried to make it. It ain't happening today.
Penny had arrived. It's nice to see. Moxie also is here and well she is having a blast with Murphy and Cinnamon. Daisy is eating her food like she is starving. I could go on and on but I need a time out. Catch you tomorrow!

Still no gazebo but we are so trying. Do have the old one back up and turned around on the upper deck. Nathan is at the show - not showing anyone but working it. It means we are holding down the fort.
Levon, Trigger and Ty departed. Clarity comes tonight.
Murphy and Cinnamon are missing class tomorrow. I just can't do it myself. Nathan will be home at bedtime tomorrow night. Moxie comes.
I think Christine is coming for a swim Friday. Hopefully Nathan will have recovered from the show.
We spent most of the day outdoors allowing the dogs to enjoy and yes, of course I was out with them.
Okay... sorry short blog... off to play with dogs... ok?

Rusty and DaisyI am playing catchup. Here are old (yesterday?) and today's photos. Riser departs tonight. I am feverishly doing laundry. Someone decided to pee on the couch.
Got everyone brushed out. They proceeded to roll around and muck it up. Had to set up outdoor furniture due to Riser departing. It's a bit of a mess out there as everything was stacked. Tracy and Dennis said they will try to work on the gazebo tomorrow. You noticed Jon and Tracy's boyfriend is not in that sentence.
I clipped back the hedge around the pool as the dogs run by the edge so fast they fall in. That makes extra work drying etc so I figure clipping made more sense. Silly me for not thinking about it before this. I am so slow at times. My garden needs so much work.
Nathan departs at 7am tomorrow. He had set up today then he is back out there tomorrow for 2 days. Judy comes to see the pups for a couple of hours tomorrow so the pool is going to invite me in. I will have earned it.
Ty is visiting and came this afternoon.
I will be glad when the gazebo fiasco is done. We will see if this piece of junk lasts more than a season. Stay tuned next year to find out. The only thing worse is repeating getting another and putting that together. They are not for the faint of heart.

Monday, August 22, 2016 at 5:30PM Sorry - it's a no blog day. Everyone is having a blast including Patches and her packmate. hehe Rusty is having a blast. I have been grooming non stop. But now we have this window where I sit in the tv room and Tracy, her boyfriend, Nathan, Dennis and Jon all try to put a gazebo together. I hold down the fort with the dogs. So - no time as everyone is here and well we will see if it gets done. This blog will not. I have my limits. hahahaha
It's just one of those days!
Oh and Tracy's boyfriend has his shepherd here.

Well so much for a day off. Did 4 baths today and one was Kat. Kat got mighty dirty jumping in the pool and rolling in the dirt doing a shimmy. Got to love it.
Early this morning Rusty came. This afternoon Winston arrived and tonight Daisy came. Cali departed.
Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday Nathan is at a dog show. I so wish I could go to see the Spice pup in the ring. Oh well. Nathan can't take photos as he is ring stewarding. So, it's me and the dogs till Dennis gets up. Blogs on those days may be late. That's an ahead of time warning.
Rusty's mom brought us bagels. Yum! Thank you!
Nathan's dad and his wife came over for a visit. He has cancer. He's off and on doing chemo and it is inoperable. His skin is paper thin. One of the dogs climbed up on him and tore his skin. It wasn't a scratch. It was his paper thin skin that bleeds with any friction. He also is cold even when it is very hot. He enjoyed seeing the dogs. We enjoyed seeing them.
Stone and River fell in the pool cutting the corner too quick. Nathan washed Inula.
Dogs have had a blast today. Miss Mia, as I type is laying ion Nathan while he lays in a jacket and a blanket in the gravity chair out back.

I had a day that started at 730am and just stopped now. Oh my gad what a long day. I had a day of grooming just so I could sit outside tomorrow morning and see Nathan's dad - who I want to see. He is visiting tomorrow. My usual day off is Sunday but I have 3 to do at 7am tomorrow before I chill or drop dead. In among this long day we also had puppy potential people over. I didn't eat. I didn't read my mail but I will if I am awake enough after I finish the blogs. Oh, and I also watched the pups and ran in and out taking care of them, watered the plants and brushed out all the dogs. Tomorrow other than the 3 I am not brushing the dogs. If anyone needs it, it's Nathan's job. hahahaha
Today Archie's brought these meat pastries. Oh my gad are they amazing. Guess what I am eating as I type.
It was hot. The dogs wanted in and out and in and out. Cali departs tomorrow. Hope we see her more frequently. She has been a joy. She's one of my baths. This is bath 2 for her. heh
I vow from now on I will take Sunday off. One needs one day or maybe its best to do Monday.
Tomorrow we get to see Winston. Now that will be a treat.
Plus Ozzie the schnauzer has arrived and is doing really well. Really busy day. Looking forward to a soft bed with Nathan and the dogs. Maybe tomorrow I get pool time.
Luna dropped in, Katie dropped in. It's been a day of busy-ness. Hope yours was quieter.

Oh the young crew surely knows how to have fun. Here is the gallery. The dogs were silly funny today. I also am late and going short as I had a lot of grooming today. You see the pups are now old enough that I can watch on the tablet and run back and forth like a crazy person. So, I started doing my own plus some visitors. Tomorrow I continue. I always wash mine before pups are born and then play catch-up 3 to 4 weeks out. It's a crazy process but I feel so great when they are done. I sort of dislike dirty dogs, if they are my own.
Oh and I got 15 minutes in the pool. Hoping for more time tomorrow. We shall see.

Look at Murphy. He floats in the air.
Well we have another class tonight but no photos or video. We have Murphy with us so I am it on taking the class with him. That means I can't do 2 things at once. Oh well, next week.
We had an interesting day. Zack stole a lamb chop off the table. tsk tsk. He was not happy with me trying to take it away from him. Teach me to leave it on the table.
Coco was standing on her back legs sniffing the air as she knew the chops were there. She didn'[t attempt to steal one. heh
We didn't swim. I just had the crew outdoors running their heads off. I am exhausted as I attempted to run with them. Maybe tomorrow will be a pool day and I will get some dogs in to swim with me. I like to get them in before baths. Easier that way and sometimes one needs easier.

The Kona After grooming/haircut
Teddy after bath Just a trimBoth just departed. It reminds me how dirty the city streets can be after a rainstorm. I washed Teddy with a brightening shampoo twice. I laugh. He doesn't mind. He's such a good boy. He's a dog that doesn't mind a bath or a trim.
Kona is amazing for his bath. He snuggles and cuddles me and it becomes a fun game with him. I have to remind him to stay still when I have scissors and he does.
Notice they both have the tongue thing going on.
We took a slew of photos this morning. Coco and Doozie was double teaming Ella. It was a riot. I usually do not see them doing the team play. Sure they play with everyone but this was different as they helped each other trying to deak Ella out. I laughed.
Jiggs arrived and is back playing like crazy.
I must admit after grooming I went outside for a few minutes to capture the crew. The pups are playing like crazy. Mabel jumped on my shoulders as I sat pawing at Velvet as if to say nay nay you can't get me.
So where's the photos? I didn't have a card in the camera and I am so miffed as I was so excited that I had such grand photos and then.... surprise.
Oh well, there are days like this...

I do not think Jazzy was slated for a bath but he sort of needed one. He went out and got WORSE after this photo was clicked. I think he loves rolling in the mud. Maybe its a real spa day - roll in mud, them a warm soothing bath, blow dry and a massage. Yeah, that's what we all need!
Here is today's gallery. Hardly any photos. My floors need washing. Some of the dogs do not like the wet. They much prefer indoors and tv land. They say rain all week.... yikes. Will my house and energy survive?
Those that really know me know I much prefer white stuff than wet muddy rain.
Oh well, no use in complaining. It is what it is.
We still manage to have fun.

Here is today's gallery. Everyone is having a blast but I am short in time. You see the storm we had our shrubs bent over and broke so I am cutting them down and putting the branches in bags. It's a HUGE shrub so it's taking too much time so blogs will suffer. Dogs love it as they keep jumping in the pile and making a mess. I am smiling but the 5th time of putting the pile back together, I had to try to smile. hahahaha
Don't ask me why it is always me that does this stuff.

Cinnamon, Velvet and MoxieNothing like the fun of pups and Cinnamon really treasures the visits. The pups do too.
It was cooler out today. I actually am coming down with a head cold so want to nip it in the bud. I went out for 20 minutes floating on a float in the pool and got burnt. That's okay. It was worth it.
Can't wait till tv time. Dogs are still in the mode of not sure we should do outside or not. It's as if they expect it to be humid. Me too.
Forgive me as I don't always have my camera with me so I miss a great deal. I vow to get better. Hoping tomorrow is cool and fun to click. But everyone is having a great time. Not a soul is sitting on the sidelines watching. At one time or another they are all engaged in playing, running, tug or find the treat. Find the treat is a big hit.You should try it at home.

Cali and CinnamonI feel like the same old record. It's been hot but worse it's humid. The humidity seems to send the dogs inside quickly so my clicks are minimal. Here is today's gallery.
It did rain today but it remained humid. I went outside to take photos and Nathan locked me out so I stood drenched at the door banging on it. He said he locked it as the wind was opening the door but there he sat playing a game and not even notice that I was a wet rag. My battery also was dead so the idea of taking some stunning photos didn't happen. Ever have days like that?
Well, soon Dennis is going to watch the pups and I am going to get draped by dogs and watch tv.
We also managed to get a hardtop gazebo 12x12 for 399. - yes, a steal but now we have a house full of people who haven't a clue how to do it. Going to be fun. Anyone handy with instructions, tools and want to make some cash and swim? hahahaha
Oh, and Ty was NOT interested in the pool yesterday and Nathan so tried to get him to be. He swims in the lake. What is that about? Losing your touch, Nathan?

In, out I can't make up my mind. But it was way too hot and muggy out. Where did all that rain go that was supposed to happen. We surely need it and the dogs need cooler times.
